Measured myself today: more muscle, less fat! :-)

I got out the trusty tape measure today and took my stock of my progress so far. I know my looking in the mirror that my body is changing but wanted to see exactly what was different. Here are the changes from my previous measurements of 2 months ago in August when I joined this site.

Weight: was 143 lb; now 135 lb (lost 8 lbs)

Chest: unchanged at 39"

Arms: was 11"; now 11.75" (gained 3/4")

Hips: was 38"; now 37" (lost 1")

Waist: was 30"; now 28" (lost 2")

Thighs: unchanged at 20"

Calves: unchanged at 14"

Forearms: was 8.5", now 10" (gained 1.5")

Shoulders: was 43", now 45.5" (gained 2.5")

Neck: was 16", now 16.5" (gained 1/2")

I did measure my arms flexed just to see how big they were & I got 12.75". It will be fun to get to 13" flexed; I hope to make it my the end of the year!
I am happy with my stats after 2 months. I have lost 8 lbs and 3 inches on the fat part of me while I have gained 5.25 inches of muscle! I am so very encouraged to keep up with my workouts and watching what I eat.

Have you taken any more pics to compare this month from last month?? Keep up the good job.
Also, how are the 100 push ups coming? You always find some really fun competitions!

I tried taking some pics today but the light was horrible! I’ll try again as I want a progress photo to add to my profile.
