New Video!!

OK I finished the FAME show on Saturday at midnight!! I came in 2nd in Bikini Model category…It was tough for me cause I came soo close to getting my pro card….Well this means yet another show has to be in Order!! Not stopping till I get it! Seems like an endless journey sometimes, but well worth it, cause you wear fitness everywhere you go.  Today I had a meeting with a tanning company and found other opps for a couple businesses which is really exciting for me!! They kept asking me about my lifestle….everyone wants a piece of health.  I love commerce and now Im thinking of getting a fitness show on TV… Im working on it guys ;) I need to catch up on sleep from the weekend….and water! Geez depleting your body of water for a while reeks havoc on you!! I think I gained 11 lbs of water after the show… hate it when that happens! Well check out the video I shot in NY…Hope you like it!! Suitcase and Travel

So I got back from NY…I went to shoot a fitness segment about fitness competition mind-set and everyday life.  It was really cool cause I got to shoot at one of the last "Hardcore" NY underground gyms (didn’t realize the difference till I went to a NYSC), shoot on top of the Empire State Building, go though times square…and make sure I had my meals fit in my day! I am soo lean and lost another 4 lbs since I can back and drank Gallons of water and carb deplete.  I went and visited a couple friends yesterday back here in Fla…and they all criticized me that I am getting too skinny…I had to make a call to one of my Fitness friends Rob Riches, and he assured me Im just lean and fine.  Its such a weird thing to battle…the scale, Im happy Im at a low number, but then again Im a ‘bodybuilder’ and am afraid of losing all my hard earned muscle.  I looked at my goals and I already surpassed the weight number a long time ago, and I passed the 15% mark long ago too(I think Im 10-12%).  All my workouts have been awesome…even my last leg workout a week out from the show.  I was at the NYSC (they’re these health clubs focused around looking at people and tons of cardio) for leg day, so I was pretty much the center of attention at that gym…there was not 1 girl who touched the weights…including my friend-girl who did cardio for an hour! Traveling means I ate more protein bars than food…or so it seems!! Tons of chicken salads, egg white omelets and overload of Sugar free Redbull(this city really doesn’t sleep!!) pretty much made my diet.  I still wish I had a NY slice of pizza or a Gray’s Papaya hot dog (not a huge fan of hot dogs… but still!) but its ok cause I can think back to the best slice I’ve had near my house and its all good :) Today and Tomorrow I circuit train still without carbs, then carb up on some IHOP pancakes….mmmmm yummy! So Im enjoying my water now while I still have it, and have to go get my themed outfit for the stage…Im such a last minute person…but AM on time! Gotta finish unpacking my bags…not soo much fun :( The weather outside cooled down soo bad it feels like NY in Fla! But I am prepared for it!! No tanning outside so Ill find a tan salon….hitting that stage Fri and Sat…need that PRO CARD!!  Stay strong guys, and I have half a brain due to carb depletion…tomorrow a quarter brain Im sure! xoxo~z

Weekend Travels and Shoots…

I was supposed to shoot Today, but it got postponed till Tuesday! I really hate it when that happens…but there’s great news! I am getting 12 pages in a muscle mag( not disclosing name yet…) with the Valentines’ Theme! How cool! So there’s sending everything and the Mag will be out before V-day…I was in Baltimore for the weekend. Man do those guys know how to make gyms! I loved it, I trained both Sat and Sun(which by the way is hard to do when everyone else is drinking beer watching the game :( the gym was empty).  Everyone was just extra friendly and even chatted a few nice words(most Florida gyms everyone just stares).  I was criticized about not drinking(its really Not hard for me to do cause I feel no-carbs give you the same "feeling") and I had to make sure I had food every 3 hrs…

Monday back in town and helped host the Playboy Golf tournament at the South Beach Country Club.  It was such a long day and I threw a can of tuna, a protein bar, and a Muscle Milk Shake in my purse before I left the house.  Then later on the day there was a cocktail and dinner.  Well lemme tell you there was Capprese Salad, Caesar Salad with dressing, Lasagna, cheese ravioli, pork medallions, and chocolate mousses in champagne glasses.  So I looked around and the chef was there…so I asked him to make me a grilled chicken salad…balsamic dressing on the side…and he did it for me! Everyone else ate that food and I have the BEST grilled chicken salad ever!!(ok I tend to say that after almost any healthy dish thats from somewhere else!!).  Well I made sure my best friend ate something from the chef too! I also handed her the protein bar in the day…Its so nice to show others how great it feels to be fit and regulated(no highs and lows…just highs) At the end of the dinner they announced the winners a round trip ticket to the Mansion and a shoot and to help host the Golf Tournament in Las Vegas! I won and so did My girlfriend!! With the crazy day I just made it my "OFF" day from the gym, and I will train on the weekend again…cause shoot Tuesday!! Any Ideas with Valentines??? I woke up at 3:30 am and cant go back to sleep! Im soo lean and I get really hot at night. Its weird to be a woman and have little bodyfat…you kinda miss the fat! Well I appreciate my body and the limits it can take me…I def wana get some exta-curves back after the show ;)   I got in the car at 5 am and went to the tanning salon(it’s open 24/7!) and then to cardio on the elliptical for 40 mins.  I immediately had a shake and 1/4 c of Kashi 7 grains(its amazing) after. Im on day no 2 of carbing up and am adding 20g of carbs for my first 3 meals. Nice to give my body a rest from the weights and fill tthem with carbs! Its around 7 am by the time I got home…Its so neat to see the world in the gym in the AM…I normally go train in the afternoon…I just admire the early morning dedication! Cangrats to you all! Hammies and Plyo

What a training session! Got to the gym super happy for some reason, and ready to start deadlifts! 95lbs 4 sets of 10-12…then off to leg curls, then straight to superset seated leg curls and inner thigh machine. Not done yet I walk over to get The STEP (the one from women classes)and had 3 blocks under it and started Plyo jumps and bounds(I read after legs its best to do hard exercises for cardio cause your legs are already dead! soo true). 3 sets each for 5 different bounding drills including box jumps and bouncing lunges to name a few… after that I jumped on the Treadmill with a 6.5 for 30 mins…my Ipod went off within the 1st min of the run, and I was able to hammer it out jedi style…I thought I was stuck with the "train with music only mentality"…so it was a relief to be able to run w/o music!…note to self Charge I-touch!  Sometimes I wonder what people think of me at the gym…"wow she has such a great body must be lucky" then they see me train and I have a ‘cool as ice’ look on my face and I bet they say "holy s**t! Can you believe that girl??!" haha! I walked out of the gym super happy and I thought I honestly could’ve ran another hour(I didn’t, dont worry!!)! It took me alot of hard work to get here….and I really want to help women feel better about themselves, cause sometimes you’re just soo lost when it comes to finding the right formula and balance…society always tries to change or scew your views.  Stay strong and TRUE to yourself, and I guarentee you will be happy!!

I just added a video from my shoot to my profile. I love to read everyone’s blog…I think we can learn something from everyone.  I especially love to look at what people’s cheat foods are…I have no idea why, but I’ve noticed that MY cheat foods have changed over the course of many cutting diets! I reached another low…ok 0.2 lbs less but its still a loss :) My brain is starting to get slower, so I uped a bit of carbs today…I kinda like that foggy feeling though! Now I remember how I used to go to clubs without drinking back then…just on a caffeine high…geez feels the same as intoxication! Well today is my off day and just to be on the sfe side Im going to hit up the eliptical for 40 mins…Im 7 weeks away as of yesterday!!! I plan on bringing back a FAME pro card! Keep killing it in the gym…and do some extra for me today! ;) xo~z

I spray tanned that morning and did my most perfect hair and makeup, I could not have been more prepared! So excited to shoot with my photographer myspace.com/waltOstarly again! We’ve shot like 9-10 times already and every time more mind blowing than the next so stay tuned for hot new images popping up every now and then :) Well I was looking forward to eating whatever till after the shoot…. the time came around and of course no appetite…but I can still try…yes I did have pizza :) Well I really do see cheat days as overrated now..and Im thrilled to be "over it"!! I still do cheat days, but the choices are cleaner and healthier than what they would’ve been before I started the competition diet.

I trained shoulders today…and I have made a point to train them hard , my main focus so that I can have some nice caps coming through. I always make sure to ingest a protein drink within 5-10 mins of training so I usually bring a muscle milk (reg or light) to the gym and put it in their fridge. This really is the most important part of building your muscle and I want to hold on to every bit of shoulder possible! I finished the workout with 1 hr on the stair Gauntlet…yes I said 1 hr, and believe me at a level 5 and walking up the stairs sideways on both sides is one hell of a killer workout! Yes I said 1 hr…it was cheat day so I had extra energy to burn :) till then I hope you train like freaks!! ;)   xo~z Photobucket

Shoot Tomorrow

Well yesterday was my day off , well it was supposed to be, but I did 40 mins cardio on the eliptical cause I wanted a glass of wine at dinner.  I had ZD chardonnay, grilled salmon and asparagus…ate half the salmon, took the other half with me and ate it 3 hrs later….yummm…Oh and I also dropped another pound that day.  Weighed myself this morning and I didnt do any damage :) Trained legs hard today, and finished wih another 40 mins of killer Gauntlet stairs. I have an awesome photoshoot tomorrow with my photographer Waltostarly.com so Im excited! Ill def write something about it after tomorrow…till then Kill it Tear it up, and train hard in that gym! xo~z

sick :/

My diet is so clean and consistent now that Im quite pleased every morning I wake up…something’s a little tighter! Geez I just sneezed twice…Im really sick , and It has stopped me from morning cardio, but not my hardcore back workout today with 40 mins of Guantlet stairs dripping sweat :)   Ohh yeah 8 weeks out from the contest! I know the time is gonna fly so Im just making lists of on-going goals and tasks I must do. Tomorrow I have a bikini contest finals…this is just bikini….not fitness what-so-ever, so I hope people dont think Im too muscular, I hate that most of the population likes mushy girls. I also have a shoot on TUESDAY with Waltostarly.com and that shoot is going to be off-the-chain!! If you have any ideas for the shoot lemme know love to hear new ideas! I was thinking of doing more pin-up 40’s look…what-d’ ya think??? The reason why I talk about my diet somuch is cause I can only cheat a little after my shoot…3 more days ;)   Keep training hard it never gets easy, and that why I love it!   xo~z
