Awesome Life…
As I sit here writing before I head to the gym and kill Hams(I want to see my rep max deadlift today
), I was thinking how wonderful my life is and all the Friends that have helped me out along the way. I feel soo blessed to meet such great people that want to help me achieve my goals and encourage me to do so. To think I felt like the end of the world has come, and I had no energy due to some junk food…That’s what most people feel and THEY have no idea what clean eating life can be like! Endless energy
When you change your thinking to change who you are (for the better I hope!), you attract different groups of people. For instance you’ve heard people say they ‘got into soo much trouble when they used to hang out with so and so’….well that should tell you something! Get out of there if you’re in a bad place…make new friends who encourage your goals, and stay positive because YOU can get everything you set your heart and mind to! If something comes up and throws you off track…relax, take a deep breath and remember you are in CONTROL! It starts now, and everyday is a new day with a new choice to be made….MAKE THE RIGHT ONE! Off to the gym to kill it! Stay strong
Here’s a pic from the Playboy Lingerie mag I picked up yesterday…

I agree with you. I also have an AWESOME life. I couldn’t do it without my family and friends! We are very fortunate to have friends who help us along the way! Good Luck on the IRON MAN magazine model contest! You look great!

Good luck with the Iron Man contest. I agree with you. You have to set your heart to a goal and focus on that.

I find it difficult as there’s not many people into healthy living where I work. Most seem to be out drinking every night and don’t understand why I like going to the gym so much. I guess its a cultural thing, we sit on our backsides all day. They are still good friends but when it comes to healthy living we just have different views. I’ve given up trying to convert them. I guess all I can do is concentrate on me. It would be nice to be surrounded by like minded and supportive people though. I guess thats why this site is so good.
Good blog Zarah, its made me think and strangely become even more motivated to reach my goals even if I have to do it all on my jones. Congrats on being published in the playboy lingerie mag btw, shame the pic is so small! =P
p.s. happy new year!

Hey - looking great! So what WAS that max deadlift btw? I keep telling my wife to do half the cardio she does and lift heavy on the leg press, squat and deadlift instead but she has the usual "i’m afraid i’ll get bulky" answer — ugh! And the irony is, I actually love muscles on a girl, bulky or not! Anyway, for whatever reason, all of the women with really fitness/figure like bodies on this site don’t often post those lifting stats or pictures. Usually the more heavy BB types do. If you can post your stats and some photos or videos of you lifting heavy, that’d be awesome and I will show it to her and every other skinny chick who is afraid to lift! Thanks!
