Power 90- Day 6
Today was totally awesome!
I woke up around 7:30 had a cup of coffee, then exercised to the cardio and ab ripper video (the coffee really helped me on energy for the workout)
9:00am: Egg white omelet w/chicken and veggies
11:30am: Slice of turkey breast & a slice of fat free cheese w/ mustard
2:00pm: Handful of almonds
(had an interviews from 3-5:30)
6:30pm: Ground turkey pattie w/ fat free cheese and brussel sprouts
Nothing else but water for the rest of the day
Tomorrow I get to start bringing back in whole grain carbs and other carbs like yams and oatmeal…. I am so excited!
Power 90- Day 7
Well, according to the scale it looks like I lost another pound
Day 7 is a day of rest, so I did not work out today; however, I worked a temp job today where I was very active reorganizing their filing system so alot of up and down on a step ladder, lifting boxes, etc…
The cool thing about day 7 is I also get a cheat meal
Here is how my diet went:
5:30am: cup of coffee- I left for work and left my breakfast on the counter
8:30am: Handful of almonds
11:30am: edame (sp?) soybeans & yogurt
2:30pm: a few pretzels
5:00pm: a handful of almonds
Dinner: I had a nacho supreme from Taco Bell
Drank water all day, and I so wanted a soda soooooo bad; but I didn’t give in to temptation! Day 8- I will start the sculpting video workout so I get some carbs in the morning to endure the workout. Funny how they tell you to eat some carbs before resistance training and for cardio to do that on an empty stomach?!
