September 21
Sunday, September 21st, 2008Today I woke up after my long weekend back home and got up to make the trip back to college. I stopped and had some food at a great little diner called nifty fifties. The food was awesome. On my way back to college I stopped to see my uncle in the hospital who had a severe 4-wheeler accident a few weeks back. Right now he can move his right foot and hand and make facial expressions and thats most of his movement. It made me start thinking about how I should not take for granted the abilities the Lord has blessed me with no matter how small I feel they may be. Because some people do not have the simple abilities that I take for granted. I have also sometimes found myself wondering why the Lord had not blessed me with some of the opportunities and abilities that he had blessed others with. Then I had to ask myself what have I done with the abilities and opportunities that he has already given me. If I could not make something out of the things he has already given me then why should I expect him to give me more. Would an investor Invest his money in a product that does not produce? Why would you expect God to invest more talents in someone who does not produce anything from the talents they have already been given? So the catch is make the most out of the things that you have already been given if you want to be given more produce more. Make God a smart Investor and you will see the benefits.
