2 years worth of progress…
June 28, 2009Through high school I studied karate, which I feel has had a considerable impact on my ability to stick to my training and diet consistently. By giving me the discipline to stick at it when the going gets tough, and push through plateaus. While not becoming disheartened when I step on the scales and don’t see what I want to, or looking in the mirror and not seeing what is actually in front of me.These past two years I’ve learnt so much, reading constantly about various nutrition techniques and the impact of what certain foods have on the body. Supplementation has been another thing that I’ve learnt a lot about, and I now happen to work within the industry, using my knowledge to help others with their own goals. Training is something that I feel that needs constant re-evaluation in order to make gains towards your specific goals. Learning what works for your own body is only part of the puzzle. Having the ability to experiment with different theories and methods is a must for anyone wanting to take their physique to the new levels.
I’ve been sponsored twice, pre-comp for my 1st competition by Applied Nutriceuticals, which I can’t say enough about their RPM and DRIVE products. And now, Musashi. With the re-branding of their SLM range which is helping me to lower my overall body fat percentage over the course of ten weeks. Their strawberry cheesecake bars tastes so good I don’t even need cheat meals!
Over the next two years I’m aiming on adding even more quality muscle to my frame, gaining more knowledge on all the aspects of fitness and nutrition, while continue to help others with their goals.
Thanks for reading guys!
Nick.
