Happy 1st Day of Spring! I know, it's hard to tell, but it is because it's MY BIRTHDAY! I am celebrating by doing the NPC Governor's Cup this Saturday so no treats for me! I am carb-depleting and chugging water like crazy! Will be celebrating with my girls after the show with a WELL deserved dinner aka 're-feed' for my body & mind! ♥
Even though this is supposed to be a BIG show, even though its brand new, and I am intimidated but I know I am coming in at my best yet. I have worked hard over the last almost year to put on every extra ounce of muscle I am brining and I am my only competition.
Ok, technically 12 days but who's counting? Oh ya, I AM! I haven't been doing my Friday check-in because my body is messing with me. I'm leaning out for sure, but my scale even went up one day - not possible on 1hr cardio / day. I've hit a wall and had to rest up a bit - 12 HOURS of sleep last night! That allowed me to take an accurate weight today of 124. My goal is 120 at 12% BF. (NPC SJ 11 I was 118 @ 13%) But my BIA says 16% so i'm not trusting that either right now as it said 15.5 2 wks ago. Mentally at this point, it's hard to judge yourself anyhow. I just listen to my coach because I become too critical. One day I think i look Awesome! the next i feel 'normal'. haha. I am definitely coming in with more muscle than last year. I'm very excited to see how I'll turn out. Since I had to stay home to day due to some plumbing repairs, I am cooking a bag each of my tilapia, salmon and chicken and hope it'll last the week. Next week is HELL WEEK (and my Birthday!) so I will take the fresh stuff I bought out of the freezer to use for then.
