Week One Complete
I can’t believe I’ve done it. One week behind me and still wanting more. Yesterday was also weigh-in day, which I knew would likely bring mixed feelings. I had cheated and had weighed two days before and that had been a disappointment, as I had actually showed to be heavier than when I started. So yesterday, I was preparing myself for more of the same.
I stood at my locker after my workout, staring-down the scales as I peeled off my sweaty clothes. Then, as if I was trying to take the scales by surprise, I stepped onto them… Wow! 4.5 lbs lighter!!!
I realize that since I am also incorporating muscle building into my routine that I will have weeks that I don’t show losses in body weight, but this was a good first-week weigh in treat.

that’s excellent!! it’s NOT easy deciding to start a program; weights and eating. It takes alot of dedication to stay on it. Stay the course and you’ll do great!!

Your weight can fluctuate as much as 5lbs in a day. To be fairly accurate just try to weigh yourself at the same time every time. For example, last night I weighed in at 198, but this morning at 194. I worked hard yesterday, but nobody works off 4 lbs.
The scale is just a tool. It can give you info to use, but the best judge is what you see in your pictures. Keep up the hard work!

That is awesome. But remember that the real test how you feel and how you look. A scale will tell you your weight but not have much fat you have lost or muscle you have gained. Ask some one to help you measure your body parts. That will give you a more accurate idea and show your gains, even when the scale dose not.
