Major Accomplishment

November 25, 2009

Today I weighed in at 175 lbs. I was benching as usual at the end of my workout. My bench has gone up a lot recently.  It has been a major focus of mine because it helps with my pushups. Today, I finally benched my body weight at the end of my workout. 175. Lbs.  10 times. I am like a little kid.  I cannot wait to see how strong I get. If a little guy like me can get stronger and bigger but stay small and fast anyone can. Courage is grace under pressure.

circuits

November 9, 2009

I personally, am sick of circuit training. Body weight routines are good and I am in the military, so they are the military’s staple for workouts. However, this does not change the fact doing a circuit every day after 11 hours of class is the last thing I want to do. I personally get no effects from them, no strength, no muscular development, no leaning out. I am a fan of pumping good old iron. This guy personally tired of circuit training.

Apollo

November 4, 2009

Today, after school, we took our bi-anual Navy physical hooyah little test. Pushups, sit ups, and a 1 1/2 mile run. Now I am a decent runner, butmy run on thr mile and a half has dramatically stayed at my elevated levels. It would bounce between 10:30 and 9:30, which is good, sub ten being very good. Recently though I have consistenly been a 9:30’s runner. Alongwith putting on my size and weight and to also keep my speed I am very happy with my recent gains.

HOURS

November 1, 2009

Starting tomorrow life should be able to resume in my world. For the past 3-4 months school has been going from 9 am till 8 pm, with usually a class pt session of a run or swim before school.  Now my schools hours are changing to 5:30 am to 4:30 pm. This should allow for me to finally not just lift super heavy on theweekends, which in turn will mean I will have greater gains. Since I left dive school in July I have put on 15lbs of muscle but it has been slow and hard. This new system will hopefully aleviate a lot.
