Simple question. What do you think?

What kind of BOOTY do you like?

Thursday, March 20th, 2008

What kind of BOOTY do you like? Yeah that’s right? I asked. The reason I ask is because within the fitness industry many women have tight firm buns. But what’s the personal preference of men and what kind of butt do ladies aspire to have. Do men want firm and tight, big and bubbly, flap jack, in-between? What?

There’s so many celebrity butts that women aspire to have. Some of the hottest hollywood asses preferred by men and women are Jessica Biel, Jennifer Lopez, and Beyonce. What I find interesting is… All of those women have some rather large buns. This topic also brings up another interesting subject…

It seems that lately, there has been more sexual interest in butts than boobs. Men seem to care more about the booty nowadays. Does this make any of you ladies want to decide against breast implants if you had previously had interest in them?

This subject is so large, I could keep going on and on.

Weight Loss Cure’s They Don’t Want You to Know About. Fact or Fiction?

Sunday, February 24th, 2008

I heard about this Guy (Kevin Trudeau) and this book (The Weight Loss Cure: They Don’t Want You to Know About) 4 years ago. Many dietitians supported it. Many of course also bashed it. None the less, the book sold millions of copies and became a New York Times Best Seller. If I had the $25 I would have bought it.

In the infomercial Kevin describes who “they” are and why these secrets of weight loss have not previously been exposed. Once Kevin went on to explain the circumstances and give his background, I pretty much was glued to the tv. I wanted to believe what he said because it was making so much sense. But I also didn’t want to be taken advantage of by some sleazy orator who just happened to have a good sales pitch. I decided to keep listening and afterwards I did some research on Kevin Trudeau, his books, and his federal court case.

In this blog post, I will give detailed information on Kevin, his controversial book, his Federal court case, his infomercial transcript and what my opinion of it all is. This is going to be long post;  so sit back, grab a snack, and listen carefully. This post will not be another congratulation or “hateration” article. I intend to provide facts to the best of my knowledge. This subject is very important to me personally because many of the things Kevin has been indicted for have been called “false advertising,” yet they are medical conditions I personally have and have cured!  So somebody is lying, and I don’t think it’s Kevin; especially on a few key subjects.

This all goes deeper than Kevin, his book, and his court case. Everyone in the world needs to hear about this, especially those who are weight conscious.
Infomercial Analysis:

At the start of Kevin’s Infomercial, the interviewer immediately got down to business and asked Kevin the coveted question… Who are “They.”

His response was, “They” in this case are really several government agencies—U.S. government agencies—and other agencies around the world, and the drug industry primarily, but also it involves the food industry. There are certain groups, including government agencies, as well as the food industry, the drug industry, and even some news and television and newspaper organizations that don’t want people to know about cures for diseases that are all natural because people can’t make money on all-natural cures

- My Thoughts: They “don’t want people to know about cures for diseases that are all natural because people can’t make money on all-natural cures. There are many people that have tried to contest by saying that “natural cures and remedies make mega-bucks.”  Well, take Hoodia for example. It was a big rave last summer as an “all-natural-weight loss cure.” It grew strong popularity and made mega-money, but then the pharmaceutical companies release claims that Hoodia can be lethal. It’s funny how in a matter of months the “pharma’s” shut down Hoodia but it took almost five years just to get a federal indictment to test Fen Phen (pharmaceutical grade speed (narcotic) and people were already dying from it! And there was proof that Fen Phen was the cause.

So what’s the bottom line: The bottom line is; Pharmaceutical companies are backed by millions of dollars in corporate lobbyist money and they have the power to monopolize the diet supplement market place, and do so by shutting down private “natural cure” companies. If the public found out there was “natural remedies” for health problems of any kind, the billion dollar pharmaceutical companies will crumble.  Kevin later mentions this during his interview.

Next Kevin begins to list natural cures for some of the most wide-spread diseases. “There are in fact cures for cancer. There are cures for diabetes. There are cures for chronic fatigue syndrome. There are cures—all-natural cures—for attention deficit disorder, migraine headaches. . .  Interviewer says, “Now wait a second. Attention Deficit Disorder. Now how can that be lumped in with all of these physical maladies?

Kevin replies, “Well, when you look at . . . the way the system works today, you have the Food and Drug Administration—the FDA, and you have the drug industry. They really work in tandem. Unfortunately, there’s an unholy alliance there. People don’t know that the majority of commissioners of the FDA, which allegedly regulates the drug industry, okay, and the food industry—Food and Drug Administration, the commissioners of the FDA—the majority of them—go to work directly for the drug companies upon leaving the FDA and are paid millions and millions and millions of dollars. Now in any other format, that would be called bribery; that would be called a conflict of interest; that would be called payoffs. That’s exactly what’s happening right now. So what has occurred is the Food and Drug Administration is really working in tandem with the drug industry to protect their profits. Example: The Food and Drug Administration says that only a drug can diagnose, prevent, or cure any disease. Therefore the Food and Drug Administration continues to call more and more and more things diseases. Therefore they eliminate all-natural remedies. No one can say what a natural remedy can do if it’s been classified as a disease. So Attention Deficit Disorder is now a disease. Therefore only a drug can cure, prevent, or diagnose it. Cancer is a disease. Acid reflux is now a disease. Obesity is now a disease.

- My Thoughts: Therefore only a drug can cure, prevent, or diagnose it. Cancer is a disease. Acid reflux is now a disease. Obesity is now a disease. I can not and will not say what I believe are diseases and what are not diseases, but it seems to me that our society (especially in America) classifies every possible ailment as being a disease. Many things that are heavily publicized are simply NOT diseases. A disease is brought upon by genetic and environmental factors. Many of the things we classify as diseases are simply things we as humans do to ourselves. Our societal disconnect from this “unfavorable truth” is brought upon by the influence of the FDA and the pharmaceutical industry. Think about this: The FDA is supposed to regulate the safety of what we eat and what drugs we take. If you do some research, and I did; you will find that in fact the FDA does NOT test all foods and drugs. They only “consider” testing them if there are a minimum of 100 complaints. And even that number often gets ignored because there is no one monitoring rather or not the complaints are resolved, where they come from or how many are received. On the subject of our definitions of disease, think about this: America has the highest rate of attention-deficit-disorder, lung cancer, and heart disease than any other developed or undeveloped nation. Some countries have no cases of any of the above so-called “diseases.” You can look at each “disease” I listed and find that they are almost always self-induced. Attention-deficit-disorder is often nothing more than a mis-behaved child with parents who have no disciplinary control. Lung cancer is often from smoking, and heart disease is often from our abundance of pork and red-meat intake.

So what’s the bottom line: Once again… These so-called “diseases” are more often than not self-induced; but The FDA and pharmaceutical companies would like you to believe that you’re the victim and that there’s a magic little pill (prescription only of course is what the say) that will save your life. So I guess were the victims of ourselves. Perhaps they’ll diagnose us with straight jackets next. That way we don’t have to be responsible for our own decisions we make. Another big distinction to understand between “natural cures” and prescription medication is… Natural cures are intended to only be used temporarily.  Prescription medications (for the big name diseases) have to be taken for the rest of your life. Do you see the issue here? They want you to be their customer for LIFE, and give you no other alternatives.

Transcript Continued:
Acid reflux is not a disease. Attention Deficit Disorder is not a disease, but it’s classified as a disease to protect the drug industries. But there are natural remedies. . . There are absolute natural cures for these problems. They don’t cost a lot. The problem is the manufacturers or the people that discover an herb, a food source—these are natural, an essential oil, a homeopathic remedy. These companies cannot by law say what the product does because if they say that this herb cures diabetes, then the Food and Drug Administration comes in and says, “Ah! You can’t say that because only a drug can cure a disease. Therefore you are selling a drug without a license. And somebody will say, “Well, why can’t that company then just apply for a drug license?” Do you know what the cost is to get a drug approved in this country? This is directly from the FDA. On average—840 million dollars. Eight hundred and forty million dollars to get a drug approved. The interviewer then says, “Okay, you’d know more about this than I do but . . . natural cures have been around forever. They were the original medicines. Kevin says, That’s absolutely correct. . . . The drug industry only started in the last 75 years. The drug industry just started. Before then, there were only natural cures. But the drug industry in America is the most profitable industry in this country. You know what else is the most profitable industry is the insurance industry and the food industry. For example, obesity, weight loss . . . there are natural remedies for weight loss that the drug companies and the food industry does not want you to know about. Now think about this. Let’s assume that you owned a food company. You sell food. Okay? You want to sell more food because that’s how you make more money. Okay? The lobbyists in Washington right now, as we speak, are demanding that the federal government and the various organizations—independent bodies—do not promote “eat less, exercise more.” The food industry does not want the message “eat less, exercise more.” Why? Because eating less means people consume less food. It’s all about money. The drug industry does not want people to get healthy. Now think about that. The drug industry does not want people to get healthy. The drug industry wants people to buy more drugs. Healthy people don’t need drugs. If everyone in America was healthy, the drug industry would be out of business.

- My thoughts: The drug industry does not want people to get healthy. The drug industry wants people to buy more drugs. Healthy people don’t need drugs. If everyone in America was healthy, the drug industry would be out of business. Have you heard of pharmaceutical salesman? They are legal drug dealers as I like to call them. They make about six-figures a year selling pharmaceutical drugs to doctors. In the 80’s there was a big scandal about this. Many of the top pharmaceutical companies gave cash bribes for doctors to “recommend” a.k.a FORCE their patients to buy their drugs. Nowadays, drug reps smooze doctors by buying lunch at 4-star restaurants and give commission kick-backs every time a prescription is written and filled from their product. If that’s not immoral, I don’t know what is. That’s called drug-trafficking 101. The main problem with this is that many doctors prescribe patients prescriptions they don’t really need just so that they can get their commission check. The biggest case of this is anti-biotics. Doctors prescribe anti-biotics for everything. If you have a common cold, doctors prescribe $40 anti-biotics. So now there’s a wide spread outburst of people who have become immune to anti-biotics because they’ve been prescribed so much. Don’t believe me? Ask friends and family, at least one person will be able to confirm.
The rest of this transcript goes on for pages and pages, so it’s safe to stop here because the underlying message has already been presented. It’s time to find out more about Kevin, his book, and why the feds came after him.Who is Kevin Trudeau:
Kevin Trudeau was a self-made millionaire by the age of 18. When he was 15, he was invited to an Amway (multi-level-marketing) business meeting. Kevin didn’t run his business as an MLM though. He sold Amway products through the distribution of mail-order catalogs. Kevin said in an interview that his greatest accomplishment with Amway was not the money he made. He said he realized that in order to make a lot of money, you have to own your own business and stay motivated. Kevin attributes his motivation by reading books about successful people. Such books include Zig Ziglar’s: See You at the Top and Napoleon Hill’s: Think and Grow Rich. After Kevin’s brief stint with Amway, he later went on to create published reports exposing several illegitimate industries. After 20 years, The Weight Loss Cure: They Don’t Want You to Know About became his first book.
The Book and the Controversy behind it: The Weight Loss Cure: They Don’t Want You to Know About:
The Weight Loss Cure: They Don’t Want You to Know About was written in early 2000  by Kevin Trudeau. Kevin shopped the book around to many publishers and after being rejected from them all, Kevin started his own publishing company, created his own press campaign and sold 6 million copies, out selling every other book of 2004 besides Harry Potter. The controversy behind the book is based on everything I mentioned above in his transcript. Kevin was brought before the FTC and forced to black list the book and take no further participation in infomercials because they believed he was mis-leading the public. Kevin exercised his freedom of speech, was able to prove the legitimacy of his “cures” and he settled outside of court. What is very interesting to note about the book is that Kevin takes no credit for any of the cures he mentions. The cures he mentions were from Nobel-Peace Prize winning doctors. What is also interesting is that Kevin has a money back guarantee. If his book was a scam, it wouldn’t have generated the buzz to sell 6 million copies, not to mention he wouldn’t have been able to follow up the book with more sequels, and his return rate would have sky-rocketed and bankrupted his enterprise.

My Closing Thoughts on Kevin, the book, the Feds, and “the industry”:
As I stated initially, this post/article is not be another congratulation or “hateration” article. I understand the health care industry entirely. I’ve gone through medical science programs, I’ve studied medical journals, I have doctors in my family, and I know the ins and outs of unscrupulous doctors. I will not say rather or not everything Kevin mentions in his book is true or false, but what I will say is… It’s a worthwhile read. I know this article was long, and I hope you got some positive insight.

To Show the Ass or not show the Ass? That is the question.

To show the ass or not show the ass?

Ok! Here we go again.  I made a post yesterday entitled: Is Bodyspace becoming Adult Friend Finder?.  This post stirred up yet some more controversy that was not intentional.  Yes.  I went on another one of my crazy tyraids.  And some people agreed.  Some people sorta agreed.  Some people flat out disagreed.  I wasn’t really trying to get any one to agree or disagree.  But several people brought to my attention (through comments and PM’s) some thing I want to clear up.

One thing I mentioned was:

“To the ladies:  If you’d like to show your “butt pics” that’s fine, but make sure it’s in contest attire.  (Low back - V cut) Please, no thong bikini’s.  For those of you who are crossing the line in an obvious way, bodyspace admin is coming after you, because you are being reported.  I’m going to keep the sanctity here if it f**king kills me.”

On the exact subject of “Please, no thong bikini’s,” one of my buddies here at body space messaged me and somewhat brought down my moral barrier.  I don’t want to offend anyone here.  EVER! EVER! EVER!  Some of the greatest, most moral, most inspirational women here post pictures of themselves in thong bikini’s.  And I also happen to know that many contests are done in bikini’s.
It isn’t up to me to start playing “moral fashion” police.  My views on this subject has not changed much, but from what women tell me, they say the bottom line is, “There will always be pervs.  Even if women dressed up in robes, someone will find some sort of sexual gratification from it.  So if we work hard to transform our bodies, why can’t we show it.  It belongs to us?”

I think I’m done ranting and raving about this issue of indecency.  But who knows.  For the ladies who post pictures for the right reasons, I applaud you.  For those who post pictures just to get some “cyber-attention,” shame on you.

Keep Bodyspace Clean

Is Bodyspace turning into Adult Friend Finder?  Or better yet Myspace?  Or Better yet Match.com?  I talked about the ass shots.  And we apparently cleared up that issue. [Blog Archive: I’m Tired of the Ass Shots Ladies] But there’s a few people that slipped through the crack.  (Excuse the pun)

My girlfriend was just scrolling through the ladies profiles looking for good ole’ inspiration (5 minutes ago) and then she runs past some of the most provocative pictures imaginable.  What makes it so bad, is the profiles are FAKES! IMPOSTERS.  Members: Putzi, Thebartender, Storytyme, Blondechick post pictures that are not even of them.  As an avid blogger, I know that these profiles were more than likely created by a man/spammer who is trying to use the profiles as a means of hacking people’s computer or sending them to a "personals website."  And when I say personal, I really mean a paid porno site.  This s**t just disgusts me!

I’m not taking cheap shots at the ladies that are here to show progression on their bottom halfs.  But what these profiles above show are images with explicit sexual indecent title tags.  Is it really necessary to title your picture: "just teasing."  Bodyspace is not an online strip club.  We don’t need any tramps here that are insinuating a flash of the boobies.

And guys:  Stop making crude comments, like the following: "Oh my God you make me weak" or "you are beyond sexy" or "I’d like to tap that."  You losers will never in a million years see, touch, or talk to these women.  Have some accountability fellas.  Many of the women her have husbands, boyfriends, spouses, or otherwise significant others.  You better be glad they haven’t kicked your a**.  My girlfriend has a bodyspace account, and sadly she doesn’t feel comfortable showing her body because nasty pigs are going to make crude comments.  Some jerk off (excuse the pun) posted a nasty comment when she posted a simple picture of her face.  What a loser!

Do I sound angry right now!  You can only imagine!  If you’re looking for a booty call, there’s places for nuts like you.  Join adultfriendfinder and stay the f**k off bodyspace.  What I don’t seem to understand with the ladies is; what do you have to gain by posting your naked pics all over the web?  You do realize this site is global right?  If you want to be seen naked in front of the whole world, perhaps you should start a career in the adult industry.  But not on bodyspace.  What I don’t understand about the guys is; there’s plenty of other sites you can visit if you’re trying to "comment molest" somebody (I should copyright that).  Why not go to those dirty sites?  Many of the girls you comment don’t like hearing the crude remarks.  They’ve told me.
To the ladies:  If you’d like to show your "butt pics" that’s fine, but make sure it’s in contest attire.  (Low back - V cut) Please, no thong bikini’s.  For those of you who are crossing the line in an obvious way, bodyspace admin is coming after you, because you are being reported.  I’m going to keep the sanctity here if it f**king kills me.

- Peace
