Things went very well.  I woke and weighed myself and I was 102! I was shocked! I totally surpassed my goal of 105. I was very happy about that. At sign in I found out the I couldn’t do the open because I was competing in the Figure Nationals and since I decided  to compete at the national level that I can do only national shows. I can do open’s if I want but it’s like a step back I was told. I meet some of the national girls and some were nice as well as stuck up. The national girls were tight and all of them with fancy suits. I was like holy shit…I’m ****ed! But I went in there and gave my all. Not expectations, no apologies. I just gave a big ol’ smile and struted myself on stage. Out of 8 national competitors I placed in the top 5 and I placed fourth! I couldn’t believe it! When they called for the top 5. I didn’t come because I just naturally assumed that I wasn’t going to be in it. Some people told me that I should have placed higher because the top 3 had no legs, especially the first finisher. I had the bigger and shaplier legs then all of them, but I think I needed some more size on the top, wider v-taper, and a fancier suit. But it was great experience and I held my own against 8 seasoned competitores. At the end of the night I was approached by NPC scout, who asked me if I wanted to be in the Ironman. He told me I had the complete package.  It was very tempting offer, but, I don’t even have a one piece suit or let long a decent two piece! The timing just isn’t right, maybe I will spectate first. That might be the wiser choice. I saw the figure girls in the Ironman on hardfitness.com and they are huge and stacked! A show of that caliber is way out of my league, right now. I know NPC is changing the rules and want the figure competitors to come in a little smaller and softer, but get up there not ready and embarrass myself. I would need to have a good year of offseason training on bulking up my shoulders and working on getting a wider V-taper before I step out at a huge show like that! But it was flattering that I was considered and that people she I have NPC potentional. Something to think about for next year most definately! If not the Ironman, some NPC show. One show down, now one more to go.

Welp this is it. One more day till show time. I am happy I am much leaner and more muscular going in this time. At this point what ever happens… happens. And I am a winner even in if I don’t win. It will be a great experience. I want to send a big thank you out to all my friend’s especially to Dawn Melanie and Willamina for your love,support, motivation with words of inspiration, tips, phone calls, and prayers. I am so sorry I haven’t been able to touch back with emails and calls. I have been under such stress with training, being a manager, and with graduate school auditions. Eeek! 8 more days! Eeek! Peak week starting tommorrow! I totally ****ed it up last time,so thank God I have a nutritionist helping me out this time. I am starting to see changes everyday! My hips are like non existant, my abs are starting to peak through, my back has been there just getting more ripped, and the fat is finally stripping away from my thunder thighs. This is best I am going to get and I have to come to acceptance of that considering the circumstances. I am a little bigger and more muscular, but smaller than I was going into peak week. Last time I think I was like 112-113 going into peak week. I am like 110-109 this time around. I even got some shoulders! I still need more to help to make my V-taper look wider and my waist smaller, but’s that what’s offseason’s for right?  Posing is getting better and I am getting a little more confident now. Will be practicing stage walk and posing hard core all the way up to showtime. I have been totally brainwashing myself into the mindset…don’t laugh now….Pumping Iron:2 The Women is on the DVD player like on repeat every night, listening to the Rocky Balboa Soundtrack like everyday, looking at pics of the figure icons, etc. I am so getting excited now!ing away from my thunder thighs.
