drinking?

does anybody have any advice about drinking.  i train hard during the week and i have a good diet, but on saturdays during football season i like to get hammered.  is it alright once a week or should i just not drink at all.  anyone with any advice, or experience feel free to drop a line.

thanks

I would give up the drinking if you really wanting to shed the bf. Infortunately it is alot of wasted calories even when frinking light beer. At the same time life is supposed to be fun and pleasurable at times and maybe drinkin gis your stress release. Mine is the gym.

have to stop drinking all together…even light beer. still calories you dont want. a light has what, 64-100 calories each. you say you like to get hammered and judging by your size i would guess at least 10 or more drinks which can go upwards of 1000 calories. how long does that take you to burn off on top of regular workouts? that is how you have to look at it.

Your goal states you want to be fit and in good shape. If all you do is drink one day a week, eat right and work hard, you can do that. But, you are pissing away an awful lot of work in the gym and clean eating every time you get hammered.

Whats it worth to you? Thats the real question.

My progress in the last three weeks wouldn’t have been possible if I was drinking at all. Not just the calories, but also the motivation and the metabolism.

I wouldn’t need to be working so hard to get back in shape if I wasn’t so drunk and sedentary for the last ten years of my life.

Drinking also leads to eating cheetos and stuffing your sausages with cheese and then having some nachos on the side so soak up all the alcohol.

Bodybuilding is a good reason, for me at least, so far, to really stay away from the stuff completely.
