No turning back…

Thursday, October 26th, 2006

Signed up for 194 sessions (for the year) with trainer Marques Taylor. Today he worked out our legs on the Leg Extension, Squat, and Leg Press. We also did Lunges. He worked us so hard I thought I was going to pass out. Afterwards he stretched us out and massaged our legs. It was the best workout I’ve ever had. 125 more sessions to go! There’s no failing with this routine! 

Went to Waffehouse afterwards with Brandie and Damond. Had 5oz. sirloin, 2 over medium eggs, tomatoes, and 1 slice of wheat toast. Next time I’ll remember to hold the yolks! (Also had a ‘Rise & Shine’ protein shake - strawberries, oranges, bananas, oatmeal, and Whey protein).

Need to buy some Whey Protein powder, fresh fruit, and a blender!

Training…

First day with new trainer Marques Taylor. We worked out our back and it was intense! Had tuna and stuffed green pepper. Still need to go grocery shopping!

Awesome workout today…

2 hour workout - 30 mins cardio, legs, abs… Great workout today!!! Brandie and I have a personal training session with Raheem tomorrow at 8:30am. Hopefully he can give us some good pointers and leave his cockiness at home. Just ate an egg (overeasy) and a piece of raisin bread toast. More tuna for lunch I think.

Day One…

Monday, October 23rd, 2006

I woke up at 126 lbs. Went to LA Fitness and worked out for 2 hours. 30 min cardio on the elliptical, arms, back, and abs. I spoke to Ed the whole time I was on the elliptical, it really helped to make the time go by faster. I just had part of a tuna sandwich and some pickles. I can’t start the meal plan yet because I still need all of the ingredients and haven’t had a chance to go to the grocery store. Wish me luck!!!

Officially starting tomorrow…

I’m officially starting my South Beach Diet tomorrow. I am trying to look and feel my best. I have a 26 mile marathon coming up in March ‘07. I want to lose about 10 pounds, tone up my body, and build up my stamina. 

I’ll have to stop by the grocery store tomorrow to grab all the items I’ll need for my weekly meal plan. This is going to be so exciting! I can’t wait to start seeing the results!
