Okay, so I took a few months off… more like 6 or 7, and I’m finally getting back into the rhythm of things. So far it’s been a solid 2 to 3 weeks of daily training. Prior to that it was really sporatic. I’m currently at 122lbs so I’ve gained 7 lbs in those off months. I’m concentrating on a lot of cardio to bring that weight back down before I do too much lifting. I’ve been eating okay this past month but I’ve got to start leaning it out again if I want to get back on track (I ate pretty much whatever I wanted in the prior months so that’s how I gained those lbs back!). Sorry I haven’t updated my progress pics, you’ll see some posted soon as I get back up to speed! Thanks for all of the messages during my hiatus. Let’s get ready to party!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:-)

Wow - I can’t believe it’s already Christmas! Today and tomorrow will be spent with local family and friends. That’s really only a few people though, since most of the fam went out of town for Xmas. This year has gone by so fast… I just don’t feel like I did enough!:-( *sigh* Oh well, it’s time to look towards 2007 now!!! How exciting!
My boyfriend Ed will be here on the 26th, and we’re heading to Miami until the 2nd (Vizcaya here we come!). I’m looking forward to our much needed vacation. I should have pics posted on MySpace when I get back!
Happy Holidays everyone, and I’ll see you in the New Year! Then I HAVE TO get back on my workout schedule! It’s been 3 days with no cardio! SLACKER!!!

Wow - my legs are really sore from yesterday’s workout. I felt the burn when I woke up this morning. I have Yoga Class in an hour, I hope I can make it through the whole thing! (I’ll definitely have to hit the Sauna afterwards). I have my leg workout a couple of times this week to get in my best shape before the AlloyOne photoshoot this coming Sunday. I’m not satisfied with my hamstrings just yet.
Speaking of this week’s photoshoot, I met with Photographer Anthony LLoyd and Stylist/Designer Kim Miller yesterday afternoon. We met at a Taco Bell and talked for a little while about our plans for Sunday. I had a great conversation with them. It’s going to be a great shoot, I can feel it:-) New images should be posted in my portfolio by Dec. 24th, and then I have my 2 day shoot w/ KT of 359. THOSE images should be posted by Dec. 26th. After that I have a Jan. 13th (classic lingerie) photoshoot w/ Jaddie Dodd. I hope to have those images back by Jan. 20th. I have a tentative shoot Jan 7th but that one hasn’t been confirmed yet. Stay tuned!!!
I’m going to take new progress pics for my BodySpace today!

I just got back from my morning workout… and phew! What can I say, I am really feelin it.
I did about 200 Jumprope, 520 Ab-Butterflies, endless Lunges, Chinese Squats, the Hack Squat machine, Hamstring Curls, and Leg Extensions. I also played racquetball for 25 mins, and did 15 mins on the Stairmaster. I really should’ve done the Leg Press but my hamstring started cramping up and I had to bail early so my Trainer could stretch em out.
I have 3 weeks until my photoshoot with Anthony R. Lloyd of AlloyOne. Also planning one with Kevin Terrell around the same time. They’re both fabulous. It’s time to get Lean!!! Here is my meal plan for here on out…
7:30am - Meal 1: 5 scrambled egg whites & .5 cup oatmeal
11:00am - Meal 2: Protein shake
1:00pm - Meal 3: 1 can Plain tuna, corn, & broccoli
3:00pm - Meal 4: Fruit Smoothie
5:45pm - Meal 5: 6oz Grilled salmon w/ asparagus
7:30pm - Meal 6: Protein shake
9:00pm - Meal 7: 5 scrambled egg whites
I’ve also increased my fat-burning pill intake to 2 a day. Do it, do it, do it, do it!!!

Alrighty - so it was a big challenge sticking to my diet during the Thanksgiving holiday. My plans were to eat plain turkey (no gravy) and plain veggies.
This is what really happened…

I went to three different households. I had a plate at each location. I ‘tried’ to lay off the carbs, and did an OK job. At most I had a spoonful of each carb. By the third plate (later in the evening) I was down to a dessert size plate. The good thing about my three stops is that I had a good 2-3 hours in between each sitting, so I was able to keep up with my meal times. I still had my protein shakes and Lipodrene in the morning. All in all I did pretty well, just not as ‘clean’ as I would’ve liked. It’s MUCH harder than I thought it would be. By Christmas I should have this Holiday eating thing down:-) I have to look great for the NEW YEAR!!!
I stuck with my workout routine - one thing I’m very happy about. I got up Friday morning and worked out with my trainer (1-1.5 hrs), then had about an hour of racquetball with Brandie. This morning I went to the usual spinning class (9:15am) for an hour. My body feels good again, as if Thanksgiving Dinner never happened, but I’m going to keep pushing this week just to lose those extra calories.
Some misc. pics from Thanksgiving Day… (click on images to view full size).

Thanks for reading… Have a wonderful weekend!!!

Yay!!! It’s been about 2+ weeks since I started with my personal trainer. I have been drinking 2 protein (Whey) shakes a day, taking 1 supplement a day (Lipodrene), and eating healthy foods. The workouts are tough but the results are amazing. I have consistently trained with him 4x per week. We alternate body parts of course, and at the end of each session I do 30-55 mins of cardio. 2x a week I take a Spinning (cycling) class. The instructor really makes you sweat & there is potential to burn up to 500 calories in one sitting.
On a side note, my personal trainer (Marques) is entering Brandie & me in a fitness contest to take place in April of 2007. I have no idea which competition it is yet. I will insert more details later:-) We have a lot of work to do!

Signed up for 194 sessions (for the year) with trainer Marques Taylor. Today he worked out our legs on the Leg Extension, Squat, and Leg Press. We also did Lunges. He worked us so hard I thought I was going to pass out. Afterwards he stretched us out and massaged our legs. It was the best workout I’ve ever had. 125 more sessions to go! There’s no failing with this routine!
Went to Waffehouse afterwards with Brandie and Damond. Had 5oz. sirloin, 2 over medium eggs, tomatoes, and 1 slice of wheat toast. Next time I’ll remember to hold the yolks! (Also had a ‘Rise & Shine’ protein shake - strawberries, oranges, bananas, oatmeal, and Whey protein).
Need to buy some Whey Protein powder, fresh fruit, and a blender!

2 hour workout - 30 mins cardio, legs, abs… Great workout today!!! Brandie and I have a personal training session with Raheem tomorrow at 8:30am. Hopefully he can give us some good pointers and leave his cockiness at home. Just ate an egg (overeasy) and a piece of raisin bread toast. More tuna for lunch I think.
