I was raised in a Montessori school atmosphere and we were constantly learning about the mid-line and how the brain functions while crossing over it. This was something I had forgotten until I recently began working with a company that strives to produce curriculum and "train away" neurological disorders. This equipment can assist with neurological disorders, add/adhd, and several others by providing a stimulus to an overactive or underactive brain.
This equipment we use is the XerPro, originally the Sportwall, which provides light, a mid-line cross over, and stimulus by sound. This increases spacial awareness and radically developes the weaker side of the brain, whichever that may be. I just thought it was interesting that after all of these years, I am now involved with a company that specializes in the very way that I was taught as a child.
Sincerely,
~ M

I’ve decided to train this week doing the old high school regimen I started with so many years ago. It is a simple 10 reps x 3 sets method with 3 circuits involved. That is essentially 90 reps of your chosen exercise, while I do not think this is effective beyond getting out of a slump, I don’t remember ever being that big again. I was beyond massive, my arms would not move and I have not had a workout like it since.
This is what I did with squats, lunges, and calves yesterday and I am doing it with biceps, triceps, and fore-arms today. It brings back a lot of nostalgic memories, even as a bodybuilder in high school, I was completely shy. What I wouldn’t do to be that kid again…

I know that this lifestyle is all about thought, determining when you are going to do something, how you are going to do it and visualizing the rest of your day. But I find that a lot of people have taken this from a casual approach to something stressful and extreme. I could throw out some facts about how stress effects chemicals such as cortisol, but I won’t, stress is bad for anyone and everyone. No matter the reason, no matter how far it pushes you, eventually there is going to be a push back.
I see people picking at their every meal and wondering how much black pepper is going to effect their diet because it doesn’t break down. I notice that people are beginning to have a fear of "what is not" and that becomes a detriment to "what truly is". If people don’t start to relax I am sure you are going to "motivate" yourself into a phobia. If you have to hate on people to get through your day, you are far from the epitome of health.
If in your own mind you have created a fear of fat, a fear of your old self, a fear of food and loathing for the people around you that don’t respect their body image. I am quite sure you have some sort of condition and may need to be medicated, heavily. If you find that this fear is what drives you, than you need to check yourself. To accomplish something is to want it, achieve it, and strive for more. It is not fearing, hating, or stressing yourself into a healthy diet and routine. If the latter is true for you, you are failing yourself and those that may look up to you.
It does not mean anything if it is made up of lies, it is no more meaningful than the cut of a surgeons knife, and it is no more pleasant. To be a facade, is to have never truly been at all…
Sincerely,
~ M

I have heard the same things for the past few days, people are having a really hard time recovering from their holiday weekend. We are all eating right and drinking well, I am sure that we are all drinking protein shakes but what else can we do?
There are a few things that have helped me in the past and we’ll work our way from hangover to feelings of mild displacement. If you are absolutely gone you may need something to pick you back up mentally and physically. Try "EndoRush" from BSN" this will relieve that throbbing skull and one bottle should last you all day long, this has enough caffeine and vasodialating technology to get you above and beyond.
If you find yourself feeling sedated with eyes burning, try your protein shakes, double your multi-vitamin, and throw some bee pollen into the mix. I have found that bee pollen has often given me more energy than most caffeinated supplements. To relieve those burning eyes I highly reccomend two drops, one is "ROHTO-V" and the other is "Opcon-A", the second will feel a little less like wintergreen hitting your eyes. Dry, red, burning, squinty eyes? Not professional…
If you don’t have any time at all to pick up eye drops or find a supplement store for your bee pollen needs, keep them in the back of your mind, but pick up some "5 Hour Energy" this will assist your body without dropping you back down into the dreggs. This can also be used in conjunction with "Energy Now! Ginseng" supplements to give your adrenals a boost. These can both be found at gas stations, which is actually where they are the most common.
The To Do List:
- EndoRush from BSN
- Protein Shakes
- Bee Pollen
- Double Multi
- 5 Hour Energy
- Energy Now! Ginseng
The Do Not List:
- Don’t Drink Coffee
- Don’t Take Excedrin
- Don’t Take Asprin
- Do Not Drink EndoRush Quickly
The reason I say do not drink coffee is not because of the caffeine it contains, it is because of the acid your body is taking in. In your already weakened state your stomach may not cope very well with that acidic hit. The excedrin and aspirin will further damage your liver and dramatically increase your risks for certain conditions after drinking. If you must take aspirin make sure it has an enteric coating which will control the place that the medication breaks down, preferrably the lower intestine.

~ M

I’ve found a use for Twitter so I can allow people to track my hourly activities without shooting out a thousand posts on BodyBlogs. Do you really need to know every time I eat my first, second, or third meal? No! But if you want to, check out:
http://twitter.com/Xergames
I really want my posts on BodyBlogs to have substance and purpose so Twitter will be used for everything else. This is mainly going to be used as an update for my company, Xergames, to let anyone know what progress we are making. What states we have launched in and where I may be headed to or from next. If you’re interested, let me know or just keep watching…
Sincerely,

There is one thing I have used for awhile that really helps out, whether you are in an office or always on a laptop. I use an alarm called SCIROCCO, which is totally free from http://www.download.com or http://www.scirocco.ca , you can set it to go off every hour or every three hours or minutes.
This can help you keep your nutrition, workouts, and supplements on time and going strong. If you have a busy day you know how easy it is to forget to dose or eat. This alarm is completely FREE so have technology work for you, for once! It also has a completely customizable rest period, which can be a few minutes or thirty and it also has an option to automatically reset.
It’s protein time! Get the hell on it!
Sincerely,
~ M

The statistics are in and these are the fattest states bar none, well I just inherited this region from our overlord David. I will be working in and around Alabama, Atlanta, Mississippi and Florida trying to reduce these percentages. An astounding 44% of all the people in Miss are overweight and 24% of those are children.
I’ll be working with due dilligence to try and get these numbers down nationwide, but starting in the epicenter of it all and working my way into skinny America. I am very excited about this, the process it will take, the schools I’ll be assisting and the children that can gain more confidence and reduce their likelyhood of becoming a statistic.
Xergames is now conquering the Southeast, if you have an area in mind, please contact me by these forums or by e-mail.
Peace,
~ M

I was wandering around my local Publix and found some great alternatives to the standard hotdog and hamburger fare at most occasions. There are always a lot of people at these parties and the cooks never seem to understand your goals. So I’m bringing some of my favorite foods that are easy to pick up and throw on the grill…
1] Uncured Organic All Beef Dogs
Since they do not go through the same process they generally contain 44% less sodium and half the fat as regular dogs.
2] 100% Organic Buffalo Burgers
These burgers help you eliminate fat from you diet, resulting in a happier and healthier you. You get the beef taste that you crave, turkey burgers are great, but it’s the 4th and we need hearty American flavorsomeness. [flavorsomeness TM of Mlee Inc.]
3] Sabra Hummus: Mediterranean, Red Pepper, Garlic, and More…
Sabra Hummus has great flavors and can be a wonderful alternative to dips and is made with olive oil which can assist in slowing the breakdown of certain fats, thus they are not metabolized. If you get the garlic style, which hefts a healthy portion in each container, you are sure to reduce cholesterol.
4] Ketchup Alternatives
The standard bottle of ketchup contains 4 grams of sugar per 1 tbsp, this can absolutely kill your gains. Try to find alternatives such as Krazy Ketchup that use agave sweeteners that are low on the glycemic index and safe for diabetics. The result, less hardcore catching up after this weekend.
5] Beer! What America is all about…
I don’t drink, but I want to and would if it wasn’t my career to stay fit. But here are a few healthy alternatives provided by Men’s Fitness:
Their Winner for low calorie? Beamish Irish Stout with 195 calories and 0% everything else, that’s kind of high, my winner? Shiner Light, with 120 calories and 3% protein, 3% carbohydrates. They don’t provide statistics, but here is the link if you wish to view their organic and various other beers.

God, even their link is long. Men’s Fitness just talks too much….

I’ve decided to start taking something to increase my drive, I’ll be starting with M-Drol, moving to H-Drol, and finishing with P-Plex. There are a lot of people that would say this order is askew, most would start with P-Plex and move forward. I’ll be doing seperate cycles of each supplement to give the reader the best idea possible of what they might expect. In combination with all of these I will begin taking milk thistle and Novedex XT to keep any gains that and sustain my liver. There may be an addition of an IDS supplement or other form of post therapy.
The diet will be very strict and consist of the following:
Meal 1: 8 AM [ M-Drol ]
2 Cups Oatmeal / 3 Eggs / Multi
Meal 2: 10 AM
Protein Powder [ 25 - 35 Grams ]
Meal 3: 1 PM
Grilled / Roasted Chicken
Meal 4: 3 PM
Tuna [ 1-2 Cans ]
Meal 5: 6 PM
Protein Powder [ 25 - 35 Grams ]
Meal 6: 8 PM
Bison / Pork / Sirloin
Pasta / Rice / Salad
Meal 7: 10 PM
Protein Powder [ 25 - 35 Grams ]
Multi-Vitamin Supplement
Gaspari’s SizeOn [ 1 Scoop ]
The SizeOn will be taken seperately so that I can adequately predict how much strength I am gaining at the time of workout and do not want this supplement to assist my stamina in any other way, other than recovering at the end of the day. There will be new pictures posted at the end of every week, the start date is July 6th, as I am waiting for the supplements to arrive.
The supplements information as far as the gram per week ratio will be updated as I take them and I will certainly take any suggestions. The workout information will also be provided weekly and will most likely be seperate body parts each day and a training method of 2 Lights / 1 Heavy = 3 X 12 or [FAIL]
Peace!

This will be my tenth month on Ritalin and I find that it is very difficult to keep my mass. This is of course because I can gain and lose ten pounds in two days, easy. This loss and gain is obviously not healthy but does this ability to burn off fat before it is gained assist the bodybuilder or damage their muscle making ability?
I eat anything and everything I want, barring dairy and sugars, I consume to survive and when I do not, I feel underfueled. I have always been of the belief that you must listen to your body, so I eat endlessly, this is not the engorging that we have all become accustomed to but something far more intense and constant. I would like to say that before I began taking this I had been a hardgainer and my metabolism was undeniably fast.
I have heard from several people that Ritalin has damaged their ability to workout, meaning they just do not feel like it, I understand this feeling. The mental clarity allows one to feel as they never had before, the urge to learn and read is overpowering. The urge to get out of your chair and do some "real work" simply is not. Beyond this mental and emotional rollercoaster you can expect from these kind of drugs. Does the ability to eat whatever I want without consequence assist my efforts or does this give one too much leeway?
I say that it puts you in an precarious and unhealthy position, reduces your drive to attain real results and may even cripple certain natural functions and processes within the body. The body often feels cold and frozen, this is the vasoconstriction that will inevitably happen to all users over time, although some experience more dramatic spells due to past issues or unique anatomical structure. Not to mention that any stimulants used within the body beyond need will reduce testosterone. This is inclusive of caffeine and when used in combination without proper dieting will eventually lead to a chemical addiction because the adrenaline put out by the body is taxed. This leads the user into adrenal fatique, which can be noticed when the drug is taken and the user feels sleepy or sedate. This is generally accompanied by a need for sleep which cannot be ignored, almost like a chemically induced narcolepsy.
The need for focus must be acknowledged, in my case and many others ADD/ADHD can be debilitating. To assist you in your efforts you will want to take a good multi-vitamin, lots of protein, b vitamins, and dessicated adrenal that may be dosed to your needs.
Sincerely,
~ M
