I don't know your nutrition plan but I was on the same situation as you a short while ago and put up 10 pounds of solid muscle in my legs while doing squats. My BF% stayed the same (around 21%). At that time I also added fish oil and a good multi to my nutrition. That should help you boost your metabolic rate !

Thanks to both of you for your comments. It helps me to see others in similar situations as me having results. I am working on a new diet plan of attach this week and will try to rethink it once a month since I think I should be seeing results faster than 12 weeks.

Mate I've had a read over your previous blogs and I think Back in November you dropped your calories to quickly. You went from 3000 to 2500 cal a day to 1500 cal, thats to quick a drop, your body has gone into protection mode similar to people who just don't eat enough calaories the body goes into survival mode and has stored fat for the hard time it thinks its about to encounter. You should look at lowering the calories gradually over a couple of weeks. Same when bulking, don't go straight from 1500 to 3500 in a week you just end up stuffing your metabolisim

Hey, I saw your blog about no progress. Well one way to look at it is that you know that doesn't work so now you have set sail to find what does. I can offer you only what has worked for me you may want to try it. Dicipline of Diet is 80% of the total factor. Please check out my blog...there i have listed my diet word for word. It works trust me. I too tried the micronutrient ratios and that crap doesn't work well for me...so I now love this diet and I love the changes it has made for my body. Calories in calories out is the TRUTH. You must understand this to be an absolute. I reccomend Tom Venuto's: The Body Fat Solution...control the hunger and everything else follows. I choose a low carb approach 60-90 carbs with moderate calorie deficit 1500-1800 cal. Please read my blog diet and the comment I posted under it. It will help you. I have also posted in the forum about this topic you are welcome to view details about it by going to my profile page and clicking on my forums I posted. Good luck and let me know how things are going for you. You can call me your friend if you want to be. Take care.
