Teen’s not getting bigger? READ this
Saturday, January 24th, 2009Alright everyone , well first I’d like to say thank you for taking your time out to read this post that I’d like to share with you all.
I’ve been lifting on and off for about 2 years. Throughout those 2 years I would have like 4 months bodybuilding then I would have a sport and not get to lift at all. I have decided to dedicate myself strictly to bodybuilding. But besides that point for those 4 months I would lift hard I wouldn’t grow at all. I wanted to stay at my 155 lb weight and just have a "cut up" look for summer. I thought that I was eating enough to the point where I would decide not to eat something just because I thought I’d be over in calories for the day.
I have finally realized how important nutrition is for bodybuilding, even if you’re wanting to stay the way you are. Now I know, all of you are going to say "you just realized? gtfo." But, this is not my point to let you know that I’m finally growing. I want to share with those who are in the same boat as me. Don’t be afraid to eat more. If you’re working out and not eating enough you’re doing shit to your body. I would suggest sitting down and making yourself a diet. I thought I was having well over 3000 calories but I was merely having 2000! Now ever since I’ve sat down and got my diet straight I’m eating more then what I ever thought I would, and growing A LOT. In the past month I have gained 1/2 inch on my arms, 1/2 inch on my calves, an inch on my thighs, 1.5 inches on my shoulders and 1 inch on my chest. The point I’m trying to make is you will look better if you just got over the fact that you will put on a little fat when bulking up. A little is okay, you can always do cardio to get rid of it.
Please Please Please Please Please take what I have said into consideration, I would really like to know that I have inspired some of you to get over what I was in and start to eat for real. Remember you should have atleast 2g of carbohydrates per bodyweight, 1.5g of protein per bodyweight, and .4g of fat per bodyweight. I would also suggest having 3 shakes a day along with other good foods and drink a lot of water.
If you have any questions what so ever please post in here and I will help you to the best of my knowledge.
