I’ve gained about 30 lbs since the end of my 2007 football season. It’s been hard work, I worked out on weekends (not even light, but all out) and probably burnt myself out for doing that, but it was worth it.

The progress I’ve made is phenomenal, I just reflect back from 2 years ago when I really started lifting. I still didn’t know what I was doing, I was doing a lot of bodybuilding exercises instead of more sport oriented and powerlifting ones. I also realized how important cardio/HIIT/sprinting is for the body to be in shape; just working out will not get you in shape.

Lately I’ve started to recieve football calls from coaches and etc. I realize this is finally the first steps and rewards to my working hard and staying dedicated. The work and time and effort, and even pain as I have fought my parents over letting me workout, letting me gain weight, letting me play football at all had come to some kind of huge climax. It’s inspirational for me. I hope a lot of you read this don’t laugh (I know most of you still will), but be inspired by what is possible through hard work.

Anythign is possible, anything, really. People tell em all the time, "You can’t do that. You’re not that good at football. Blah blah." Take that as inspiration, work harder everytime someone says you can’t, because really, you CAN. All it takes is that first step, first movement, first committment, and first grunt as you begin to lift weights

I hear about all these guys taking Muscle Milk and how hardcore it is. I like whey protein, I’ve been getting some pretty decent gains on it and it tastes pretty clean, just not amazing though.

However, supposedly Muscle Milk has got it all! It helps you lose fat and gain lean muscle. It also tastes like a freaking milk shake! the calories and sugar isn’t that bad either. But, I have been hearing some questionable things about Muscle Milk and how it’s bad for your brain. Also, that it doesn’t work that well and that their "evo-pro" formula is basically completely bull. I need some help deciding guys. Thanks.
