Saturday Nov. 14th

Very good day in the gym today. Progress on all my lifts, especially excited for my chest and shoulders. Still would like a spot to help on the back end of all lifts and as a motivating factor, but you gotta play the cards your dealt. Good thing I’m a good self-motivator!

Tuesday Nov. 10th

November 10, 2009

Hit Chest/Triceps today. Worked my chest real hard. Chest was good and strong and really got a good pump on my tri’s when I hit skull crushers.  Trying to get back into the heavy routine after taking several months off. Sleeveless T’s and a good mix of Killswitch/August Burns Red have been highly motivating factors. Excited to hit it hard everyday!

The Weekend.

January 25, 2009

This weekend was slightly unproductive for me. Friday was alright. I hit back and bi’s When the Killswitch hit my Ipod I thought my biceps were going to explode. Which was a great feeling. On saturday I didn’t go to the gym, but I did get a decent run in and some pushups/pullups/situps. Today I felt bloated all day, Im pretty sure it’s from some of the supplements I’m on. I hit my legs for a light workout because I didn’t want to kill them. One thing I do like is the fact that I tipped the scale at 185 today. YES.

Chest

January 22, 2009

Today was chest day. Always a pleasure. Ha. Well I got a personal best of 235 for 7 today and my weight is up to 183. So i have put on about 6-7 pounds thus far. Im pulling right along and loving every minute of it.

No general direction

January 21, 2009

Today was one of my cardio and/or off days. Early in the day I went in by myself and worked on some core. Felt pretty good after that but knew I would be back in there later. So a buddy and I headed to the gym again and knocked out a mean pull up workout. Pull ups are my favorite. After that we did some light middle back work. Well since I am going to be running in this 15k I might as well train. So we went out and ran approx 4 miles at a light pace. I’m working back into my running shape. Thats about it for the day.

Legs

January 20, 2009

Today I hit legs in the gym. Legs have always been my biggest downfall. Not only are they not the strongest but I always have trouble building them. Any pointers? Well regardless I hit them hard and got a good burn and a good spin in. My roommate asked me to run in a 15k in like three weeks. That isn’t really enough time to prepare, but I’m a good runner and I’m going to do it just for fun.

Feels great to be back.

Yesterday I felt like a slum. I took the day off after a long night of fun. I usually don’t take days off in any way. I usually manage to make it to the gym and at least pull some cardio or something. So in turn I hit it hard today. I went in there with an attitude and hammered my chest. There is no better feeling than absolutely tearing your chest up (except maybe doing pullups). I love coming out of the gym and feeling like a million bucks. Heck, I might even go on a late night run!
