Well.. where do I start,I have so much to say. I started coming back to this site in March. But I did not actually do anything until June.It took me a while but I finally get it.I was reading blogs and stats trying to get motivated but it was not happening.Yeah I wanted to lose weight and look fit but I did not want to be fanatical about it(been there done that!)I wanted balance in my life ..I did not want everything to be about dieting and bodybuilding. I wanted to be realistic also , I wanted to look like the best me.Years ago I used to compete in bodybuilding at first I was striving to look like that again …(why, I am not competing anymore) that was my first mistake!First of all most people do not look contest ready 24 /7 and if they do they are extremely genetically gifted or doing things that that are not healthy to maintain that look.Since I am not competing I do not have to look like that.So I decided to eat relatively well, excercise and not whine when i missed a workout or ate a cookie! And guess what ..since that (I started in May) I have consistently lost weight..not 10 or 20 lbs a month but consistent weight lost, I started at 167 I am now 153. My clothes fit better and my mucsle tone is good and I am strong! And I feel good isn’t that what it should be about.Well I know I am ranting but I just wanted to get some of this out ,I need to blog more Till the next time!

I have not posted for awhile and hontestly since my last post I have had some missteps. But for the last 8 weeks I have been pretty consistent with my workouts and pretty good with my eating. I feel better and that is important.I do have goals and I know I will reach them.At first I would impose strict deadlines on my progress then I ask myself …"why" and for the life of me I really could not come up with a good answer. So I have decided "slow and steady" I will reach my goals. This seems to work for me. I do not whine , I do not complain , I just put in the work . And I have also learned to like me just the way I am now…not just how I will be ..even though I know that will be pretty terricfic too…:)
