Why is it that…

the generation before you was never as smart as your generation and the next generation never will be?

My work outs have been going good, work on the other hand slow. I have been consentrating on form alot more as of late. Before i was trying to lift heavt with bad form. Better the form better the work out. Pretty simple. This is not a new concept, i have seen it on here and read it in magazines but just now payed closer attention to it. Anyways just something i thought i would mention if anyone reads this.

Today is cardio day. I will be working the heavybag and then tread meal. Mornng meal 3 eggs, protien shake with banna, and a little oatmeal.

Yeasterday…

was leg day for me and today tells me it was a good work out. I think i have eluded to the fact that the more a person works out the clearer they think. Or maybe thats just me anyway….As i struggle with a new carreer and money, while working out it dawned on me that there is a way to always work it out. I am gonna go and see if i can get a job in a gym part time. Benfits are easy to see. I get to work out, am around people and a place i like and some money daily. Now why i didnt think of this sooner i am not sure. My hole life i have always focused on something and then zeroed in on it and it alone. Now i havent forgoten where i want to be but or am gonna be but that doesnt mean i have to be in poverty to acheive an end result. I am not sitting on first base hoping to get home. I am still in the game, judt not trying to make it to home in one shot anymore……..have a good work out everybody.

It was leg day for me

and i must say i did my best to destroy them. Did a pretty good job too LOL : ) Went with leg extentions, squats, leg curls and stiff legged dead lift. Tomorrow will be just a cardio day. Probably on the heavy bag. Its kinda funny how much of a diffrence a couple of weeks working out will make you feel.

Doubleing up

Today i am going to double up on my workout. Since i am doing alot of traveling for my work, i dont always get to workout in my routine. So today i am doing, cheast and tris, then legs. Both will be a 5×5 routine but i am gonna change it fom 2 min. rest period to a 1.5 min rest.

I will be using my new supplement Torrent from Unversial today. 

Also gonna get a little more serious about stats and the amount i am eating at meals.

New Supplements

Saturday, October 24th, 2009

Good morning all, I got my new supply of supplements today and a new supplement. The new supplement is called "Torrent" by Unversal. It is an after workout drink.I will be using it for that and thru out the day. I use a lot of energy shoeing horses, so my thought is i am working out all day and need some help to keep up my endurance as well as the ability to work out after the day is done.

The other products are Opti whey ,casien protien and there multivitiam. We shall see how it goes.

Was out of town the past few days but was still able to work out with dumbles. Not as good as i wanted but better than sitting on my ass.

Today was bis and back day

All excirses have 2 mintues in between sets at the end of the week i think i am gonna cut the time interval to 1 min 30 secs. Weight will stay the same  but just not enough intensety. I think my weight is good just need to get more intense from it.

Deadlift  135 warm up 5×5 weight 185

shrugs  135 warm up 5×5 weight 185

latpulldn 70 warm up 5×5 weight 120

straight bar curl   45 warm up 5×5 65

dumbell curls  15 warm up  5×5 weight 30

and then crunchs both uper and lower

5×5 work out

Yeasterday was a good workout

bench warm up  95lbs  workout weight 135lbs 5 set 5 reps ea.  2 mintues between sets on all excirses

Squats   warm up   135lbs  workout weight  185lbs  5×5

Dead lift  warm up weight 135lbs   work out weight 185 lbs  5×5

Stiff leg Dead lift  warm up weight 135lbs  work out weight  185lbs  5×5

Shrugs  warm up 135lbs  work out weight  185lbs  5×5

Tricep push down  warm up 50lbs  work out weight 70lbs 5×5

Straight bar curl  45lbs warm up  work out weight 65lbs 5×5

Got thru them all with a 2 mintue rest in between set. I will do that for a few weeks and then reduce the time between sets by 30 seconds. Part of my routine will be traviling on the road so some of the times i will be using dumbells, will have to firguer that out when it happend.

Getting back into the groove

I has been a little over a month since i have truly worked out. Gonna start back at it today. gonna just simply try a 5×5 routine and just keep active. On the road a lot and the lack of funds can wear on a person. Its not an excuse, just a fact.

 Have a good work out.
