I Don’t Understand….

how it works. While i am doing stiff leg dead lifts i am working my hamstrings. During the excirse it seems that i am working more of my back at the time. HOWEVER on the second and third day after the work out i can feel it in my hamstrings big time. Why and how i wonder.  : )  feels greatyone reads this can you tell me the BEST way to find out my true % of fat to lean mass muscle?  Thanks and have a great work out.

Drug addict……

I have a better understanding of what a drug addict must go thru at times. Yeasterday i had a great work out for me. Today i am slightly sore but love the feel and i miss it when its not there. Its almost like a high. The part i am fighting to day is NOT to work out. I am doing my best not to over train as i have done in the past. According to the routine i am doing this is a rest day. My desire to strengthen my body and keep moving foward is fighting with the rest of the world. In the days of old school (not that i was ever a bodybuilder) working out (mainly Marine Corp) I would be hard at it today.

I smile as i sit here writing this. Why you ask? Not really sure. Maybe because i am learning? Maybe because i am tinking of tommorrow and the work out instore for me in the morning……. : )   Have a great day everybody

Week 2

Well i am on my second week of my new routine and all is going well. I seem to get a good pump as well as increasing my strength. Maybe because i am warming up more, not really sure but it is working and thats what i need right now. I am already thinking about how to change up my routine when this one is in about its fifth week.

I also finally have gotten the muscle to mind connection that so many people talk about. I am able to concertate alot more on the move ment and isolateting those muscle i am trying to work. Makes a hugh diffrence in the work out and pump.

Well have a grat work out and day.

Today was leg day for me. I have been doing a new work out that i found in one of last years muscle mag. Doing the excirceses they say and the reps they say. Now i thought i had a good work out and felt solid about it. As i sit here typing i relize i had a great work out. If i put any amount of force on my lower muscle they start to tremble : )  i like that feeling ….getting more out of it than you expected. Hope all have a great work out today and a great weekend.

New work out

The new routine is working great. Its a little hard staying on a set split cause of work, but my solution to that is simple….. get a work out in when ever i can. : )

Yeasterday was shoulder day and it was a good work out. It had been a while since i did just shoulders, i guess my other rooutine did some good cause i was stronger. Now that i think about it, it was the same in chest and tri’s. Doing more cardio now. Get rid of that winter layer : ) LOL   Anyways have a great day all….

Ruts and then change…

They happen everyday in our lives. We dont see it happening but one day it hits you….Im doing the same thing day in and day out. Weather that is working out, our job, our friends, what we eat, the route we take to work or thousands of other things we do. We do need change in our lives, how are we to grow both physcaly and mentaly. I think sometimes we get tunnel vivion and forget the overall goal. GROWTH!!!!

I noticed today that it has happened to me. I have focased on trying to gain strength and lifting heavy that i got into the rut and no change was happening. So starting today i am CHANGING my routine. Gonna start doing pyramidsand see were that takes me. No longer have the money to use HydroxyCut Hardcore or any of the supplements i use to use. LOL so a guess this is gonna be 100% natural.

Anyways hope you all have a good day…..

For me atleast. I learned the past two workouts how important nutrition before a work out is. I did squats again today with the same weights as the last time and cruised right thru, even did 2 extra reps on all weights. That includes the weight that almost gave me the hernia. I did move a little slower but i felt strong. Only diffrence was i had 3 eggs for breackfast and large glass of 2% milk. After workout will probaly be the same as preworkout, simple thats all thats at the house : ) LOL  Hope you all have a great workout and day.

My work out was great tonight. Did chest and tri’s tonight. Was a little worried when i first started had worked all day and energy was a little down. So i had 3 slices of peanutbutter toast and a large glass of milk and was good to go. Felt strong all work out.

Dinner was simple….Large glass of milk, 3 scrambled eggs, and 6 slices of bacon………..bacon not the healthist but hey it tasted goo : )      Have a good evening all.
