1st workout since injury

Went lite today. First time since i seperated 2 ribs. Nothing more than 20 mintues on the heavy bag, and 10 mintues jumping rope. But man did it feel good to work out again. Gonna stay lite for a little bit. ease back into it so i dont agrvate it. Hope all are doing good

Injury

Sunday, January 13th, 2008

I have taken almost three weeks of from working out. Im guessing i went a little to heavy one day on deadlifts and damaged a couple of ribs. Well it feels better now, so tomorrow afternoon i will start lifting again. I was amazed at how fast i put on weight. In the past three weeks i put on almost 8 pounds. Oh well just a little more work for me to do, and it pushes that goal back about a month.  Have a good day everybody : )

Simple amazed

I am always amazes at how people see themselfs. Some think they are the bomb in the good way and in reality wellllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll lets just say its there perspective. And they dont understand if you dont agree with them. Then you have the people that are smoking hot and think they are not. People will never cease to amaze me.  : ) Thank you one and all. Oh and some of the tudes on here……. WOW

The Grand Illusion

It seems that as we go thru our lives we think other people seem to have it better than we do. They have more money, a better body, the perfect partner, they are living there dream. They seem to have it all from our view. However if you were to know them like you know yourself, would they still be in that illusion or would they be more like us or worse than we thought? I am reminded of a saying i heard as a younger person…."The grass is greener on the other side of the fence". Is It? Then i as you.." If the grass is greener on the other side of the fence, why jump over?" Think about it : )

2008 Has started and for some reason i am in a funk. Just seemed to have the blahs. Some may have to do with not eating right. Its been about a week since i have worked out.. Did some damage to a rib doing dead lifts.Might have seperated them from each other, not at the breast bone but in between the ribs. Just enough to be annoying and make a person favor it. Oh well i shall live. Start back at it on Monday the 7, maybe it will feel good then. Have a good one all.
