Did chest and triceps last night using the 5×5 routine. It wasw odd only doing 5 reps. and then waiting 2 mins. and doing another set. However i am going to say it worked. Granted it is only my second time trying it however both times i start my day a little sore from the workout. Just enought to know that i worked my muscles. I couldnt wait a full 2 mintues more like 90 secs. How long can you work out with the stored protien in your body? I have heard diffrent times, some say 45 mins. others say 1.5 hours anyone know the read deal? Also have seen others drink a type of protien while they wotkout looked like clear liquid not a whey shake, again ideas people? Have a good day all

Well i did the first 5×5 on my shoulders the day before last and it seemed to do good. Today i will be doing my chest and triceps. I am looking forward to seeing how it goes, gonna change up my excersises as well. The injury i wrote about the other day is still there. Not sure but i might be over training. So i am gonna go down in weights and try the 5×5 routine. Again if anyone has tried this let me know. Thanks

I started my new routine yeasterday and after one day i can say owwwwwwwwww. Not sure if that is from the routine or the new excersises but the shoulders are stiff this am. LOL Damn it feels good. Today is my day to ride my horse and i am looking foward to it. Have a good day if anyone is reading.

Saturday was leg day, good workout, went up in weight and it felt good, Took Sunday to ride my horse. Had a great time with him, damn good horse. Today will be my shoulders. I am gonna try a new routine today, called 5×5. iIt sounds like it will be a good work out. Anyone out there tried it?

Howdy all, not sure excatly what i screwed up but its between my left trap by my neck and then down to my left rotator cuff. I think its probaly a muscle i over worked. On Tuesday i worked my chest and triceps, felt a little twinge nothing big. Then Wensday i cut about tweny trees down to help my friend clear a pasture for my horse. All seemed well and then…………….. the morning came and with it came the pain. It seems to be getting better, didnt hurt to bad at yeasterdays work out, just a astab every now and then. Today is a day off so maybe that will help.

How does a person gain strenght, and lose weight at the same time? What type of workout routine? what about eating? Suggestions? currently 221lbs want to get to 185lbs but a strong 185lbs.

Hello again all, Did legs today and part of my routine is lunges. Why? I hatted them when i was in the Marine Corps, and i hate them now and yet i still do them. Maddening i tell you . Oh well. Have a good night all. Is that spelled right, damn i should have paid more attention in school.

WOW i added pushups to my chest routine and was amazed to be sore the next day in my lats. I mean i have been working for 3 months solid and i am sore in my lates like it was the second week, guess i need to change up my routine more. Tommorrow is my day off and will be out riding my horse. He is really starting to respond to his work outs as well. He will go to the dentist in a couple of weeks to get his teeth floated so he can eat better. Then i will up his food and put more weight on him.
