on my hands. Just like the Styxs song. Like alot of people out there work for me is slow. However i was not fired,or layed off. I chose to change careers to one i should have done along time ago. And in this day and age its rough. Am gonna go and look for a part time job. Maybe in a gym or something with flexable hours. Need to be able to keep going with the new career but also pay bills.
My workouts are going pretty good, but i am hitting that point mentally where i am more worried about failure fincialy. Which makes me wonder am i doing the right thing and that leads to self doubt, which can lead to depression, and that can lead to failure. In the past i usally get so tied up mentaly, that i loose my desire to work out and quit, which is one of the worse things i can do. So being armed with this knowldege i have to force myself to change it this time. Tired of the insanity.
It is also coming up on the holiday season. Which brings back memorys of loved ones lost and reflection on time past. Coupled with "To much time on my hands" can spell disaster.
Gonna just do cardio today. It is suppose to be a day off but for ME i dont know that i can take a day off. When i do i dont sleep good nor feel right. I have always been very physcal with energy.

i have to go all the way back to April 29th to find a comment on any of my blogs. It makes me wonder is anyone reading them? Or are they reading them and not commenting or are they commenting on them and for some reason they are not getting thru to me.

Today was a simple cardio day for me. Nothing major. Did 2.33 miles on tread mill on an incline. Being its a cheap tread mill not sure how much of an incline. Then i hit the heavy bag for three 5 mintue rounds. The third round was a weak round,not sure why. I mean i know i was out of gas physcaly but why i dont know. Dinner was good and so was breakfast so i should have had the gas but didnt. Not the end of the world.

long legs and burgondy lips……,A song by Motley Crue, and there are plenty of ladys on here that could have been in it. The reason i bring it up is it is one of my workout songs. Speaking of which i went up 10 pounds in weight today on my excirses in dead lift, lat pulldown, and shrugs, and 5 pounds on hammer curls and straight barbell curl. Which got me to think of some of the picture i see on the site here. Holy **** ladys, who are the people taking the pictures. Some a from professinals, but WOW some are not. Dont get me wrong not complaining, it just got me thinking thats all. That got me thinking about a movie called "PCU" and the protest in the movie. Man they would have had a feild day in the movie with the pictures on this site.
Anyways my brain was just running thats all. Have a great workout all.

Today was supposse to be a light day working out. Did my cheastand triceps yeasterday,so the routine called for simple cardio day. Well i got a call for work in Houstan in the morning,Sunday was gonna be my leg day. So i had the choice to either stay on my planned routine and do cardio and miss my leg work out on Sunday. Couldnt convince myself to do that so i did them both and will use Sunday and Monday as days off.
I am glad i did. Have a great workout everbody.

Sometime as i work out i dont think i am making any progress. I push and push but seem to be stuck in my routine. Today for instance. It was cardio day. Usally i walk/run on the treadmill. Now it is a home version so you set the angle/incline you want before you start and that is where it stays during the entire. All you can change is speed.(It was given to me free of charge so i am not complaining) I usally set it for the most incline possable and get after it. My goal is 3 mile in under 30 mintues. (Marine Corps PFT standards). Usally i get about right at 2 miles in 30 mintues with incline. Today i went with no incline and did 2.57 miles in 27.33 mintues. Close but no cigar as the saying goes but it did let me know that all the sweat and pain is working.
Rember where you atarted and where you are now to measure your sucsess. BUT always keep pushing foward for more and better results.

Today was leg day. As i have eluded in and earlier post i have slowed down to concentrate on my form better. The work outs are 5×5 with a decent weight. However slowing down on the reps and concetrating on the form puts alot more strain on the muscle group you are using. At one point during squats on my fourth set and 3rd rep i almost lost control. My thighs got real weak and came close to failure at the mid way up point. Just goes to show that it works.

maybe to a pro bodybuilder its the way they look on stage or off.
Is it the amount of weight one can move/lift. Then a strong man competer is in shape.
The Marine Corps says 20 dead hang pull ups, 80 situps in 2 mintues, and a 3 mile run in 18 mintues or less.
Is it the endurance athlete? Iron man? Bycyclist? Swimmer?
All of the above require you to be "in shape" So for mei would have to go with the defenition i heard some time ago and i am not sure who said it. The defenation of "In Shape " is "The time it take a person to recover from a sport or activity"
Thats the best i have heard and seems right to me.

the generation before you was never as smart as your generation and the next generation never will be?
My work outs have been going good, work on the other hand slow. I have been consentrating on form alot more as of late. Before i was trying to lift heavt with bad form. Better the form better the work out. Pretty simple. This is not a new concept, i have seen it on here and read it in magazines but just now payed closer attention to it. Anyways just something i thought i would mention if anyone reads this.
Today is cardio day. I will be working the heavybag and then tread meal. Mornng meal 3 eggs, protien shake with banna, and a little oatmeal.

was leg day for me and today tells me it was a good work out. I think i have eluded to the fact that the more a person works out the clearer they think. Or maybe thats just me anyway….As i struggle with a new carreer and money, while working out it dawned on me that there is a way to always work it out. I am gonna go and see if i can get a job in a gym part time. Benfits are easy to see. I get to work out, am around people and a place i like and some money daily. Now why i didnt think of this sooner i am not sure. My hole life i have always focused on something and then zeroed in on it and it alone. Now i havent forgoten where i want to be but or am gonna be but that doesnt mean i have to be in poverty to acheive an end result. I am not sitting on first base hoping to get home. I am still in the game, judt not trying to make it to home in one shot anymore……..have a good work out everybody.
