ELBOW AND ANKLES TODAY!
Wednesday, June 18th, 2008Today I hit the basement and worked my upper body as a whole like I always do. I generally stick to heavy weight and compound movemments, you know presses and rows a few pull-ups. On my legs I do a lot of squats, deadlifts, lunges, and a few leg curls. My workuouts are really intense and last about an hour to an hour and a half. What I’m trying accomplish out of all this is real functional strength. Strength that you can uses in everyday like picking up a box or fighting the enemy in my business. I just want to know can you really get an intense workout as well as real functional strength from doing bi’s and tri’s or calves and chest? If this is working for you then keep on, hell its working. I’m not here to knock anyones workout and be no means am I an expert but is this type of training doing it for anyone?
