triathlon training

I decided and started seriously training for a triathlon on Sept. 30 in Mission Bay.  It is actually a mini-triathlon, but I feel confident that I can do it.  I’m starting off in decent shape and I still have another 2 months to train.  I had a really serious workout yesterday so I am taking it easy a little bit today.

I think the race is do-able.  500 meter swim, 15K biking, 5K running.

Morning:  Swam 800 yards (730 meters)  before work, this was 30 minutes of swimming.
Normal work day, nap after work :)

Evening: Shoulder workout with ab sets during rests between sets for 45 minutes

- 5 K run (3 miles), this took me about 28 minutes.
So obviously really tired at work today hence me having a lighter workout day.  I will workout with my trainer tonight but I wanted to take off the AM workout today.

cutting down in the problem areas

I took measurements yesterday with my trainer and I lost about an inch and a half around my waist.  I hadn’t worked out with him for about 2 weeks and he acted impressed by the improvements in my abdominal strength (night and day difference as he put it).  I think all the pieces are finally starting to get together and get the ripped body I have never had!  Sweet!  So excited to get cuts and big muscles after months and years of toil and sacrifice…

Hardcore Workouts!

OK, so everything is starting to fall into place, I’m getting older but I’m not ready to give up yet.  Since I’ve always been heavy, I’m getting into the best shape of my life and I decided that I will never again be fat.

The workouts have been really intense as I’ve been taking N.O.Xplode beforehand and that supplement definatley creates some AMAZING workouts!  I have also been taking Lipo-6X in the morning and afternoon to see if that helps with the fat burning.

Yesterday was a very intense day because I started out with 30 minutes of swimming before work, then after work I decided I really wanted to lift but my trainer said to concentrate on cardio.  So I did both.  I worked out my back and did an additional 30 minutes of cardio on the bike.

I’m working out with the trainer tonight and he will be taking measurements.  Hopefully, this will go well!
