Operation “Andre’ …ManCandy”

With operation “Andre’…ManCandy” well underway I would like to take an opportunity to thank everyone that has offered their support, and guidance to keep me focused.  I now realize why it took me so long to loose the weight on my own.  Without great support and positive reinforcement I was just out in left field playing Baseball with a Hockey stick.  HA HA HA!!!

During this time of self loathing is when I would normally just give in; throw my arms up and say “What’s the use!!!” But thanks to you all (My country accent shows even when I type) I can stay the path and continue to chisel away at the fat.  I am now learning to focus on the “goal” and not the “journey”.  It isn’t easy but I am learning.  

I just wanted to take this opportunity to say “THANKS FOR THE ADDITUDINAL ADJUSTMENT!”  Even though I am disgusted with the way I look, I now use it as fuel to propel me beyond my goals; Instead of using it as a bat to beat myself up with.  Hey I guess you can teach old dog new tricks!!! HA HA HA!!!

Operation “Andre …ManCandy” is a three phased attack plan to reach my goals. You have to place a mental pause between Andre’ and ManCandy to get the full effect of the operational name!!!  HA HA HA!!!  Sorry I am still Military minded so everything seems to turn into a “Phased Attack Plan”. Hey it works for me. When I first began this odyssey I planned for each phase to take a year to complete. If my timetables are askew please let me know.  Is a year correct amount of time to build 20Lbs of quality muscle mass? I don’t know because I have never made it this far into the operation.

OPERATION- CODENAME
“Andre’ …ManCandy”

Phase 1:  Loose the Fat.
Goal:   Take my body from 310Lbs@46%Bodyfat to 200Lbs@9%Bodyfat.
Timeframe: 26 Mar 07 – 31 Mar 08

Results:  During this phase I learned to eat correctly. I eat 6 to 8 small clean meals a day. My calories are between 1800 and 2000 calories (all inclusive). I counted and documented every single calorie for a week to assess how inadequate my eating habit is and where changes needed to be made.  I was shocked to learn that I was consuming 4500 calories a day, plus I was eating way too many carbs at night.

Phase 2:  Build the muscle.
Goal:   Take my body from 200Lbs @ 9%Bodyfat to 220lbs @ 10%Bodyfat.
Timeframe: 31 Mar 08 – 31 Mar 09

Results:           (To be posted as I update my journal).

Phase 3:   Define the physique.
Goal:   Take my body from 220Lbs @ 10%Bodyfat to 190lbs @ 6%Bodyfat.
Timeframe: 31 Mar 09 – 31 Mar 10

Results:           (To be posted as I update my journal).

That is about the gist of my plans. This Operational Briefing has been deemed “UnClassified” and will not spontaneously combust in five seconds!!! HA HA HA!!!  Have a great day and a greater physique.  “Always Forward, Never Quit!”

    Ok, you are seriously too funny!!! Love operation "Man Candy!!!!" I do however, think you are giving yourself too much time. You have done so well thus far and I think you have the abilitiy to do all of what you talked about in the next year. It will just take focus, determination and discipline. You have what it takes, you just have to do what it takes.
