Muscletech Contest
If you would have asked me a little over 3yrs ago if I would enter a contest like the MuscleTech Challenge, I would have said you were crazy. In November of 2004 I fell off of a roof 9ft, head first onto a deck.
I had herniated 2 discs in my cervical spine, 2 in my thoracic spine & fractured 2 vertebras. I damaged the part of my brain that controls vision leaving me legally blind in my right eye with drastic vision changes in my left.
I was told never to lift weights again.
May 5, 2008 I had a bike accident that literally scalped me & left me with 2 more fractured vertebras, a broken right wrist & elbow. Over the summer I had gained a substantial amount of weight.
Against the Doc’s advice I started to train again. November 2008, progress was painful & very slow. February 2009, I saw the ad for the MuscleTech challenge. With the encouragement of my wonderful Wife & kids, I decided to try.
I purchased some Nano Vapor, Halo & went to work. While I haven’t reached the place where I want to be, I’ve come a lot further than I even thought I would a year ago.
I want to say thanks to bodybuilding.com & MuscleTech for giving me the motivation to try again.
While I may not have finished as strongly as I wanted to, I’ve finally started & finished something for the first time in a really long time.
Thank you so much.
Sincerely,
Jim Fowler

Your story is very motivational! Keep up the good work! It’s awesome to see people with the heart to go on when it seems near impossible.
