Managed to swing out to the gym again after work. This could be a trend. I like.
Decided to do some chest exercises today. Not sure I pushed it hard enough, but, I also added in a few more lbs and topped the day off with the elliptical. By the time I left, felt pretty tuckered out. In a good way. I’ll have to track down a small notepad this weekend.
- Dumbbell Bench Press 10×40lbs/45/50/55/60/65/70lbs
- Decline Bench Press 10×90lbs/110lbs/110lbs (still a bit wobbly but doing better)
- Incline Dumbbell Press
- Cable Crossover
- Cable Fly
- 40mins elliptical varying level 10-12

Well if I keep a blog, I’ll probably be better at tracking my progress and digesting how things are actually going…
Today was a leg day. I decided to go right after work, at 5pm, instead of the usual 730-8pmish arrival. Good idea. Not as crowded as I had expected, which means I could likely get as good a workout earlier in the evening and not feel as worn out. Going later, as I have been, usually feels like a stretch at best.
- Seated Leg Curls x10 (80/90/100lbs)
- Standing Calf Raise x10 (120/130/140lbs)
- Leg Extension x10 (80/90lbs) ** didn’t do well here, not a good day I guess
- Leg Press x10 (180) x8 (225/270lbs)
- Dumbbell squats (25lbers)
- 30mins on the elliptical at level 10 ** usually prefer upping to level 12 at 10mins in
Feel like today was kinda experimental. Normally, I take Mondays off from the gym due to work issues that make me wake up earlier than usual. Not entirely sure I will continue going to the gym on thisĀ "dayoff", tho, honestly, it’d be swell just making Monday the cardio day. Actually, I like that idea a lot.
Normally on the leg days I also do hack squats. But I’ve also been known to mix in some ab routines or back exercises. Think I’d do well just focusing, focusing, focusing, though, and come up with a solid leg routine that gives me some challenge and results.
