Great day of golfing!

Thursday, May 3rd, 2007

Yesterday I skipped the gym and opted for a round of golf. This was my first time out all year, and we decided to walk the course since it was such a nice day. I felt really strong throughout the round. I have notice a big change in my endurance level. Although I still have a lot to learn about golf, I managed not to loose any golf balls, and I got a good work out outdoors.

Built Ford Tough

Monday, April 30th, 2007

Well things have been very busy with family, work and school.  I have not been able to get into the gym like I would like too. I was in Miami for a week, and I was able to work out every morning and managed to eat rather healthy. Friday on my way to the gym I was involve in three car accident in the middle of rush hour. I was the last vehicle involved, they hit me from behind. I am fine and surprisingly my expedition is fine (built for tough). So Friday I was a no show at the gym. I have managed to work out at home through everything that has been going on.

Monday was a good day!

Tuesday, April 10th, 2007

I had a good day at the gym on Monday. I usually skip over the scale in the locker room because I don’t want to get depressed. However, I decided to step on the scale before my workout, and I drop about 20 pounds since I have started working out again. I am coming of a bad two week with little or no working out. This has me excited again so its time to crank up the workouts. I am noticing that if I go in the gym and don’t mess around I can be out in 45 min. Mondays work out consisted of:

Peck Deck x 2

Incline bench x 3

Flat bench x 3

Machine bench x 2

Preacher curls x 4

Straight bar curls x 4

Alternate dumbbell curls x 3

I do cardio 8 times a week since I am trying to loose weight. I do 30 min in the morning before breakfast everyday trying to keep my 70%HR, and I do 25 to 30 min after my workouts 3 times a week. The only thing I wish I had was a work out partner. Someone who can push me, and I think I can do heaver lifts.

Missed a workout

Saturday, March 24th, 2007

I skipped the gym on Friday I was just too tired. I spent 4 hours in traffic to go 37 miles. I went home to get some rest.  I have not gotten the rest my needs, I can tell. Today I unpacked and put together my home weight rack.  I had to dig throw all the boxes I had in my garage.  If you don’t know I recently moved in to my home so I don’t have all my equipment setup. I am going to make up for Friday’s tonight at home. Also I have increased my water intake to a little over a gallon a day. I hope this is not too much. Well people please fell free to offer opinions or suggestions.

TGIF

Friday, March 23rd, 2007

I have not been bloging for awhile, but I have been busy with school work and my wife is due with my second child. However I have been going to the gym three times a week and doing cardio at least four times for a min. of 30 mins. I have not weighed myself so I do not know how much weight if any I lost. I have noticed that my waist line has slimed down a bit and I am getting complements.   I started my Animal Pack today, I wanted to try them out because they where conveniently packaged since I am on the go. I am also thinking about trying the Animal nitro. Well I just dropped in to update my status. I will try to get some pictures soon.

Feeling pretty good today!

Thursday, March 8th, 2007

My typical day usually starts about 4:00 am. I wake up take two Lipo 6 pills and watch about a half hour of television, About 4:30 I run or walk about 30-45 min. on the treadmill. Then it’s a protein shake multivitamin, and other supplements and shower. Either I or my wife wake my daughter and get her ready for school. We eat breakfast usually oatmeal or eggs. I usually drop my daughter off at school so I make it to work about 8:30 -9:00 depending on traffic. I am coming from Fredericksburg VA to Springfield VA. I usually stay at work until 6:00pm I can usually make it to the gym by 7:30 depending on traffic. I have been doing this for about a month and it really has been paying off. I change my eating habits and now I am trying to have 5 to 6 small meals throughout the day, each containing about 40 grams of protein. I really don’t cheat on my nutrition I just find it hard to eat this much food all day. Well it’s not a lot of food but I am never really hunger because I eat all the time.  I have started to receive comments at work. Now people are noticing my weight loss. Everyone wants to be on my diet, and I tell them I am not dieting. I just change my eating habits and started working out again.  I tell people this is a life style change not a quick diet.

Starting over is hard sometimes!

Monday, March 5th, 2007

I am very motivated; I really want to transform my body. I have been looking at pictures of myself 8 years ago and I see I really let myself go. I have joined a gym about a month ago and have been sticking to my workout plan. I was really upset at myself for letting myself get so out of shape. I have to start all over again.  But putting pride aside I really think I will be in the best shape of my life if I stay with my program. I am much smarter now because know I have the genetics and I know how to lift weights, but with the help of this website. I now know how to use supplements and nutrition to my advantage. Later I will write out my work out and supplement stack. I have to get to the gym I do not want though have any excuses.  Later

Welcome!
