Police and Fire Games
I really want to compete in the body building event for the police and fire games hosted here in Reno in July 2010. However I am torn between that and also doing the toughest competitor alive (which is 10 events ranging from a rope climb, bench press, to swimming and running.) Also I am running the Huntington Beach Half Marathon in February 2010. Today is my "first day" really back in the game since I had my kid over a year ago (I know, I know such a slacker) with eating healthy (well….that I need to work on!) and serious lifting. I have so much to read and learn. And so many questions to be answered like, is it best to gain muscle first then burn off the fat or vise verse? I am so clueless. If anyone has some suggestions please let me know. Does anyone know if the P90X system is worth it? I hear good and bad. Well off to the gym, wish me luck!

I have a friend who has the system and each time she does it she complains of being sore…so I would say it is pretty good! I have looked into it myself…
If you purchase it, let me know what you think! I am a runner also and will start training for a marathon in January. I am working to lose some lbs and gain some more muscle before that though!
