Making it reality

In myself, but mostly because I’m losing trust in my fellow man.   To me, a verbal agreement with a handshake should be as binding as a formal contract with a lawyer’s blessing.  I was promised a meager compensation (but it’s better than nothing!) for attending and photographing the NPC Last Frontier show in April 08.  I was there to cheer on a friend, but was asked to help with the photography.  In good faith, I even extended my stay out of town, and extra night at a hotel, submitted hundreds of photos (many of which have made it into some form of publication with zero credit).  It is now August, and no one involved in the transaction is responding, zero, zippo, nada… stick a fork in me, I’m done.  Taking a sabatical, call it what you will.  But I need to remove myself from the "bodybuilding" world and focus on my family for a while.

Update: as of January 21, 2009, I STILL have not received anything from the photographer, even though he SWORE it was going in the mail by the end of November.  I don’t know if it’s worth the effort at this point - he obviously needs the money more than I do.  I’ll try one last time.
