A new day and a new goal.
I know this may not seem like a lot to you heavy lifters. But for me this is a happy day. Tonight, for the first time on almost a decade. I put up a set of 5 reps on the leg press with 950 lbs. I could have done more reps and possibly broken the 1000 pound barrier, but i didnt want to push it. No pun intended. I had allready done 8 sets on the sled with less weight but did a full 8 sets of 10 reps. Each time increasing the weight by 100 lbs. With the 9th and final set consisting of 950 pounds. If i did less sets, i could probably lift heavier weight. BUT the legs were getting a little shakey. So im sure you wont blame me for stoping at 5 reps. I dont like forced reps. The 1000 Pound barrier is only 50 lbs away. YAY me.
