Forward and beyond

I went to the chiropractor for the first time and he did something with my neck and now I feel better.  I haven’t lifted anything since this happened on Saturday-  but I’m feeling pretty good.  I can move my head to the left without any dull aches and assorted tweaks.  I am holding my breath, because before I couldn’t hold a left armed bicep pump without feeling pain in my neck and shoulder.  I went because I had tweaked my upper back by doing some chinups and it was the same old pain I’ve been dealing with for 4-5 years now.  He also did something with my back and now I haven’t been doing the old man shuffle after sleeping all night, like I have been for the same 4 -5 years.  I’m not saying this will work for everyone,  but its been a good deal for me-  at least so far.  I’m glad I’ve been doing small weights and not laying off my shoulders-  but having pain and soreness has got to limit whatever bodybuilding plans anybody could have.  I can’t help but think this is biggest reason I was on the slowest getting jacked plan of all time.  Till next blog, bye.

Stabilize the midline old man! At least that’s what those crossfit geeks always say. When you were doing your chinups you probably had your back curved and your shoulders shrugged, which is the absolute best way to strain your upper back. Keep your back straight. Use a gravitron if you have to. Also, handstand push ups! They’re pretty good at developing balance while in motion.
