home gym

My ideas of the home gym need some fine tuning.  Worked out legs last night and its clear I need a better plan.  Squats without a good rack are not easy.  Looks like I’m gonna have to get a workout I can handle without a rack at least for awhile.  This is one thing I’m missing from the old gym, because they had everything.   I’ll figure this out.  One good note the park behind my house has a swing that can double as a chin up bar.  Till next blog,  Bye.

I have thought the same thing about squatting, so I tried doing front squats instead. The weight is much lighter but I actually prefer the front squats to the normal ones. It hits the quads much better for me. If I want to work the back of my legs I do standing leg curls, stiff leg deadlifts and lunges help too.

Thanks for the reply, I actually tried the front squats. I think they will work fine, along with the other suggestions - I’m still learning. Thanks
