Well, at least I know what is causing my shoulder pain. Supraspenatus tear. Wonder how long that takes to heal? Now I have to figure out ways around it. Till next blog, Bye.

I was talking to a guy yesterday about benching, and shoulder injuries. He said that if you keep your elbows close to your body it really takes alot of stress off of your shoulders. He pointed out how when your elbows are spread away from your body durring bench, and go below the elevation of your shoulders, all the stress goes to your rotator cuff. It also really works your tri’s to keep your elbows close. Not sure if you are ready to bench, yet, but I hope this helps.

Ouch, Drew! Think that will be a question for an "ortho Doc", really. IMO, don’t do ANYTHING more to exercise or work that shoulder untill you see one, or at least a Sports Medicine Doc. Like knees and back, don’t mess around by looking for ways to circumvent these type of injuries. They must heal first. Hate to hear of further damage to it. Good luck with it! later…
