Worked out last night and changed everything up a bit. Did Deadlifts, pulldowns and a couple of other back machines. Felt good about everything. Got a good pump going on the bi’s with a little bit of arm work. Repeated the mantra "Grow, grow, and grow some more" through out the workout. Something I forget to do, just makeing sure the muscle gets the right orders. Till next blog, bye.

4 mile run Sunday, 2 mile run Wednesday, no cardio rest of week. Shoulder work Thursday night. Wt. down to 195 which is a bummer, eating better food but not enough. Did some chest work last night and it was rough. I’m still haveing issues with the right shoulder (benching). Have an appointment with an orthopedic shoulder doc on Monday, I’ve had enough. He’ll probably tell me to layoff the shoulder. I think I’m able to use my shoulder only because I am actively working it. Will see. Till next blog, bye.;

Says it all, I haven’t run in a coons age. Legs feel like sponges. Finished off the run with three dragonflags. A personal best, up from the 2. Not sure what to do about the thoracic outlet sydrome yet, most fixes are correcting posture or physical therapy. I doubt I’ve left off training the shoulder girdle, with all the crap I do at the gym. Hopefully this explains my crappy bench numbers. If anything, I hope I can learn the correct excersizes for squashing this hurdle. My biggest problem is finding a neutral arm position to keep from feeling the really subtle signs the veins are geting pinched. I’ve also been reading about the bad effects of sugar. I love my Dr. Pepper in the morning. How far does one have to run to get rid of a Dr. Pepper? Till next blog, Bye.

I think I have this. The overall upperbody weakness down to the arms going numb at night. Called my doctor to get his opinion on my symptoms, before I fork over some clams with an appointment. Well at least I know whats been going on the last six months or so. Till next blog, Bye.

I have to keep reminding myself, Rome wasn’t built overnight. I need 13 good lifting yrs under my belt, and I think I would be happy. Back to the grind. Till next blog, Bye.

July is looking like a struggle to workout. Vacations etc. Worked out last night, concentrating on the shoulders. Started out with smith machine and the overhead press. Managed to get all three angles, working on the rear delts first. Shoulders are still not right, but toward the end they cooperated. I’m old enough to know when I’ve overdone it, so I walk the line with my weights. I’m really happy with the extra weight. Midsection is hanging on, by some miracle. Didn’t do cardio or abs. Still my goal is to have an athletic physique, and I’m close (200lbs with a six pack). I’ll get my six pack with cardio, hopefully avoiding serious diet adjustments. Till next blog, bye.

I guess all my workouts have been worth it, but my brothers where bugging me about my working out. I don’t even qualify for the question to begin with. Both don’t even workout, so they don’t have a clue. It bugs me because my kids are usually around and they hear this. My kids do know I take an active attempt at getting in shape, and they see this also. I’m sure there is a forum post, somewhere. Till next blog, Bye.

I think loading hay into the barn counts as a compound exercise. 100 x 40lb set.

For some reason I always blog on my leg day. I think its because I’m beat beyond beat. My legs are shaking. Did more machines tonight. Mangled my calves. I was feeling kind of bummed, wishing I was leaner with my 200lbs still. I am sticking to my plan however long it takes. Z plan is simple 200lbs with a six pack. Oh yea, I’m thinking 205lbs now, but still a simple plan. Not ready for my six pack, need more mass. Till next blog, Bye.
