Hit 200 lb for the first time last night. Down to 196 on the digital scale this morning. I’m thinking I should try for 205. Its not a anal about my diet (pro bodybuilder) 200 but still 200, I’ll clean my midsection up, but not sure what to do with my larger booty. Waist still at 32" so that hasn’t changed. Worked on machines (upper back and chest) last night and chinups. I’m really happy with my weight. My whole purpose was to gain weight and have an athletic build, not a skinny waif build. Maybe I’m making progress. Till next blog, bye.

Camped with the kids for three days. It was hot, sorta like a spa for three days and nights. Managed to get a small workout in on Memorial Day, when we got home. Hitting it harder this week, its time to bump the weights up. My weight is hanging around 197, and I feel heavier if that makes since. I’m not used to the mirror yet, but the extra weight seems to party on my rear and lower back and sides. I’m sticking to my 200lb plan for next month and should be there by the end of this week. Did a sorta normal workout. Rotated walking lunges with leg presses. Walking lunges started at 30lb, then 45, then 65, and finally 70lb dumbbells. Did 140lbs on the reverse leg press or whatever its called. Did other leg work but can’t remember the right names of the machine. I was beat leaving the gym. Now that my shoulder is getting better, I did handstands with and without vertical support. Did ab work, till I was cramping up. Holiday weekend, and I’ll be out of town for three days. Trying to decide if I better get to the gym tonight or not. I’m going if I can get everything together, its my only arm day. Till next blog, bye.

Wow, what a change in my bench press. Read a Bodybuilding article about correct form for the bench press, and I went to the gym last night with directions and worked on my bench. I still need some tweaking on using my legs on the return weight, but I’m excited. No wonder my bench numbers sucked, and I never liked doing them. I was all wet. Shoulder still not right but I can pull off the flat bench much better, decline bench is pain free. Till next blog, bye.

Shoulder soreness is getting me down. Really need to work on back and chest. Biceps are moving ahead of everything else, need to let up a little. I can’t believe I just wrote that, because my arms are just starting to get bigger and I’m getting a really nice pump. I am basically experimenting with different machines to see what I can do. Tonight will be cardio for 15 min. and then figuring out what works and what doesn’t work. Flat bench is out or a least weights scaled way — way back. Till next blog, Bye.

Still doing the German Volume Training. Increased lifts from the week before. Did leg work last night. Walking lunges with 55lb dumbbells. Got a little green halfway thru but toughed it out. Working on concentrating on the mind muscle link. Been thinking about my diet and how it affects my workouts also, there’s alot of information out there. Till next blog, Bye.

Still on the German Volume Training program. Did legs yesterday, had a great workout. Continue cardio for 15 minutes before workout, usually stationary bike. Shoulder seems better this week. Need to start figuring out a home gym setup. Till next blog, Bye.

Worked out Monday Tuesday Wed. Skipped Thursday will try to get legs and biceps tonight. Weight at 196 and holding. Getting a little sloppy around the lower back and sides, it seems I store extras at these two areas. Sweating like a pig with the extra weight. Will start cardio maybe next week. Strength is up, shoulder is ok at best. Where my body is going is anyones guess, one day I look great the next not so great. The extra weight doesn’t look bad, just not what I’m used to. My goal is to get to 200 and stay until I see some abs. Till next blog, Bye.
