February update

Monday, February 11th, 2008

Well, body is hanging on still.  Mirror is happy,  just working on increasing weights this week.  Weight hanging around 190 still.  Cardio is out the window, should resume by end of week.   Midsection, I’m still working on my abs, but not worrying about a little flab hanging on.  Ab work smoking my lower ab muscles,  you know it when you can’t even situp afterwards.  Have a few people in the gym asking about my ab workout,  which is kinda cool.  Till next blog, bye.

Kicking and screaming

Well I’ve still got my bug,  right now my chest feels like a small car is parked on it.  I’ve still been working out just no cardio.  I’ll get better,  just hanging on right now.  Till next blog,  Bye.

Got sick and life slowed down to a crawl

I felt like a steamroller ran over me 5 times, but today I’m much better. Managed to workout last night keeping it to about 30 minutes.  Did some leg work and abs.  Did a negative dragon flag and can keep form all the way down.  I try these after I’ve warmed up a bit.  I haven’t done my ab roller in awhile since I got sick, but I’m at it again.  Weight is off everything is off,  I spent most of last week curled up in a ball in bed..  Till next blog, Bye.

Brutal Monday

Monday, February 4th, 2008

Todays lesson in beating up the body.  Did compound smith machine inclined bench 160X10×3 moved on to dumbbell inclined bench 140×10x3.  Next was barbell rows 180×10x3.  Next I did running on the treadmill 3 sets of fast 1/4 mile sprints.   HR at 183 max.   Next was ab work - working on the dragon flag, doing negatives right now.   Finished ab work with some hanging leg ups.  3X10  and 1 set of 10 hanging side bend leg sides.  Finished with 1 song of uphill biking on the stationary bike.   I know its all wrong for my weight gain, but I haven’t done cardio in awhile.  Legs stiil sore from yesterdays leg day.  Till next blog, bye.

February goals

Friday, February 1st, 2008

January came and went with minimal gym time due to work,  but February should be easier. This month I’m working on improveing my bench numbers.  Injuries feel to be getting gone.  When I get back to the gym, I’ll look back at my numbers and update stats with hopefully better numbers. I’ve been existing off pushups and ab work lately.  Went a couple of times to gyms where I’m working, been to a couple that I wish where in my area.  Till next blog, Bye.
