Thursday

Gym time was to short again.  Did overhead seated presses, incline bench, pullups, pretty much everything I really don’t like including different shrugs.  Neck was tight even before I left the gym.  I’m gonna stay with this for 4 weeks,  traps need help.  Traps are sore even today.  hummmm.  Till next blog,  bye.

late day

Finally got to the gym with 45 minutes till they closed.  Did some quick ab work and ran 2 miles.  Bummed but went home.  Will do home shoulder work with dumbbells.  Till next blog, Bye.

Leg Day

Tuesday, February 26th, 2008

Worked my legs,  included walking lunges.  Still working with machines more or less.  Squats, I’m not ready for.  Blasted the legs from every angle.  Nearly got sick a couple of times,  but pulled thru.  Cramped up after doing the calves, so I had to walk that out.  Finished off with cycling,  uphill.   Sponged my way out of the gym.  Managed to work on dragon flags.  Progress on that front is slow,  but steady.  Till Next blog,  Bye.

Sunday

Sunday, February 24th, 2008

Managed to sneak into the gym.  Did shoulder presses, bench press and shoulders in general.  Left the gym pumped.  Progress is progressing.  Arms are getting bigger, but everytime I measure they are the same size, so I don’t worry about it.  Mirror is 90% happy, just need more size.  I’ll keep plugging along, till next blog,  Bye.

Ab Attack

Worked on deadlifts,  I need to get some gloves with straps, my grip was failing near the end.  Did biceps, till they popped.  Wrapped up with some ab work, but for some reason I was tight,  settled on the swissball instead of the usual.  Probably off tonight.  Till next blog, Bye.

Wed night

I did good.  Started out with bench press, then dumbell flys, Rope pulldowns (warmup), etc..  Worked triceps/chest pretty good.  Shape is coming along,  just need more size.  I’m not eating enough.  No cardio, no abs.  Till next blog, Bye.

Workouts

I ran my 4 miles again last night, and the was thinking in the back two that this wasn’t helping my quest for 200lbs.  Then I started thinking I don’t have a timetable, its not like I have a show or something.  I am working out because I enjoy the whole process.   I might not be optimizing my efforts toward the end but I’m at least roaming in the right direction.  My goal is still 200 lbs with decent abs.  Till next blog, Bye.

cardio

Did my monthly cardio it seems 4 miles, at a decent clip.  Air was good legs need some more running time.  Didn’t do anything else,  I’ve been slacking on the cardio so that was my goal.  Good shoes make the world of difference.  Till  next blog, bye.

Thursday night

Workout went good.  Started out with smith machine overhead press.  Started with a somewhat easy 10 reps finished with a 5 rep heavier weight.  Did shoulders and lat pulldowns.  No cardio and finished up beating abs with hanging leg ups and Negative dragon flags.  Need to get back to my ab roller, but was to beat.  Tonight is valentines day so no gym today.  Need to get some more cassein whey, I ran out last night :(   Till next blog, bye.
