Gym time

Blasted the body doing personal record on the deadlift.  Topped that off without pulling something or whatever worse could happen.  Leg day went without a hitch,  finished up with a token ab workout.  Left happy and beat.  Till next blog, Bye.

Shoulder day

Thursday, December 27th, 2007

Did my deltoid workout,  and felt really good about everything. Did my compound lift first and then hit my rear deltiods moving to the fronts last.  Shoulder only kinked once, and I worked it out. Did my ab work till I started cramping.  Abs  are much better,  and will be awesome when I drop my quest to 200lbs.  Hanging around 192 right now,  a cold set me back a week.  Everything coming along,  still on the slowly getting jacked plan.  Till next blog, Bye.

100 blogs. I started doing squats for the first time.  Knee was OK,  a little cold at first but no pain afterwards.  Started off with squats and finished all my leg work in 45 mins.   Felt green doing leg extensions, but worked thru it.  Till next blog, Bye.

Direction

My weakest link in my goal has got to be my diet.  The perfect diet is just not included in what I’ll do to get my ideal body.  However, I’m not doing to badly.  I eat 75% right most of the time,  and if I don’t I do cardio.  My long range goal is still in the crosshairs, and I’m  gonna keep plugging away.  Right now, I’m still thinking 200lbs is a good weight to shoot for.  The wheels are improving much better now that I have my knee back.  Pec development is still a priority.  My goal is still between a mass monster (60%) and fitness model (40%).  I think my frame supports these numbers.  Till next blog,  Bye.

Weekend

Got to the gym once,  workout was mainly about abs.  I’m not suppossed to be worrying about them,  but lately I’ve been obsessed with doing a dragon flag correctly.   My back isn’t strong enough right now so I’m doing bits and pieces of the flag.  My arm and shoulder have been really sore lately, so I’ve backed off on any gains with them.  I did deadlifts on Thursday and I need to start doing these in again in my workouts.  Hanging leg lifts extended getting better,  trying not to swing as much.  Cardio has been ok.  Ran 2 miles on Sunday.  Till next blog,  Bye.

Lost the battle

Well I broke down and drank my soft drink.  I lasted 4 days,  so now I have 5 more days to go, till my next breakdown.  I’ll just drink 8 -10 glasses of water the rest of the day.  Ran 1.5 miles last night in the neighborhood,  looking at christmas lights.  Will hit the gym tonight,  my arm has been doing really good,  so maybe I’ll do some bicep work.  Working hard on fat reserves, for the winter months.  Deadlifts, and lat pulldowns are back in the mix, after a 4-6 month leave.  Hanging ab work is getting lots better. Still the ab killer is a correct dragon flag, I’m this close..  Right now I’m pulling in my legs.  Till next blog,  bye.

abs attack

OK.  I’m doing something right, my abs are sore beyond sore.  I not sure what pushed them over the edge, but something did.  Just sitting still contracting my abs hurts like someone punched me in the stomach.  This coming week I’m going to give up caffeinated soft drinks,  I’m still taking creatin so I’ll see if this has any effect on my water retention.  Till next blog, Bye.

Gripes

Every piece of me is achy.  My legs and abs are sore from Monday,  my shoulder is sore from when I strained my rotator cuff many years ago 5+yrs, and my bicep tendenitis is still dragging me down.  Glad, I got that load off my chest,  I couldn’t breathe.  As long as I can crawl to the gym, I’ll be ok.  Till next blog,  Bye.

Review

Well,  it seems I’m at the crossroads again.  I dropped my weight and held it.  Its time to size-on.  I’m  watching what I’ll eat and I’m going to gain to 200lbs this time.  I’ll watch my weight,  but I know I can take any flub off in 2 months or so.  I’m really going to try to increase my protein with supplements, and eat right.  The creatin seems to be working like it should so I’ll keep that going as well.  My weight right now is 187.  I haven’t been able to get to 200,  but maybe I have packed on enough muscle mass to inch me up their.  Abs are decent, by my standards.  Till next blog,  Bye.
