Cardio again, but this time different

Rode bike for 30 minutes and then ran for 20.  Alternated intensity three times thru both.  A great work out.  Ipod helps thru the boredoom of it all.  Creatin seems to be working,  added 4-5 lbs somewhere.  Till next blog,  Bye.

Gym time

Gym time was slow yesterday. Left bicep was holding me back,  abs still sore from three days ago.  Managed to get a good pump on the arms, somehow.  Worked on dumbbell presses and pullups.  Did my walking lunges with 70lb dumbbells.

Monday Cardio

Got to the gym late,  just ran 2.25 miles and worked on abs.  Hanging knee raises,  hanging side bends  –these are not easy.  2X Modifed leg raises on a bench, I don’t know the name of.  These left me cramping almost.  Till next blog, Bye.

Post Thanksgiving

Monday, November 26th, 2007

Weight coasted on thru.  The only weight I’ve gained is probably from the creatin.  Will be on this till the end of November.  I’m good with my progress,  so far.  Still working the pecs and shoulders with a modified workout I found in a Muscle and Fitness magazine.  Lower body is improving.  Walking lunges and etc.  This week will try to throw in some forearm and lower leg work.

Sunday small blitz

Sunday,  workout went well.  Not enough time, but what the heck.   Arm was feeling good so I did dumbbell inclined bench presses with 70lbs,  could probably do more but didn’t want any problems.  Did my walking lunges with 65lb DB also.  Getting better with execution.  3 sets  Did cable crosses for shoulders,  SORE today.  Didn’t do any cardio,  but managed to wail on the abs with hanging leg raises.  Till next blog,  Bye.

Workout

Friday, November 16th, 2007

Last night, managed to work shoulders again.  Worked all three heads.  Bicep was not happy, somewhere around the second set,  but finished all.  Not doing bicep work is driving me crazy.  I was suppossed to also do my triceps, but ran out of time.  Managed to pull off  hanging knee ups and leg ups.  Not real sure if I did the leg up exactly right but managed.  Abs where cramping up after my swissball crunches.  Excited about the leg ups,  will try to do hanging twists next time.  Till next blog, Bye.

Leg day

Walking lunges with (2) 65 lb DB  3 sets 12 steps.  Last set couldn’t hardly get thru.  Hack machine was an improvement.   Calves got a workout also,  needed to do the treadmill to keep from cramping up.  Did a few chest flies and wrapped up with abs.  A good workout day.  Till next blog,  bye.

Diet update

Tuesday, November 13th, 2007

I forgot how much easier workouts are with my own tunes.  Did a lat workout to lay off my biceps.  I can tell I haven’t worked them enough.   Workout ended with a 10 min treadmill.  Weight still around upper 170s,  midsection about 8.5 out of 10.  Still loading creatin,  last day.  I’m out of Dr. Peppers so I guess my morning soft drink is out.  I’ve pretty much figured out how to cut.  I was waiting to take a decent picture before I ate my way out of my present shape, but that isn’t going to happen.  So for lunch,  I’m going to eat something grand,  not sure what, but its not going to be a pbj sandwich.  I’ve tried this before,  but this time I’m sticking to my plan.  I’m going for the see food diet, if I see it I’m gonna eat it.  Till next blog, Bye.
