Weight is 196 and moving up. I feel heavier and I can tell. I still have a 5 pack, which I’m really glad, because I’m eating everything. I don’t normally eat this much, but I told myself I’m going for 200 lbs. I’m also going to the doctor for my knee, at least he should be able to tell me whats going on. Not doing good leg work stinks. Till next blog, Bye

Mirror check, the easiest way for me to see if all my bodybuilding work is heading in the right direction. Well, I have no idea. The last three weeks have been pushups and dumbbells. I know I’m gaining weight, just not sure if muscles are balanced head to toe. I’m not doing any measurements until the end of May. I figure this is a lifetime project, and I’m thinking it will take about 3 years to get to my idea of the perfect body. One year into my project, I feel I’m going in the right direction. I can’t wait to get back into a gym workout, I miss the different exercises that a gym offers. Motivation holding steady. Till next blog bye.

Well after three weeks of protein drinks at 3:30 and casein whey after working out before bed, I am seeing some weight gain. My plan is to hold at 200lbs and begin defining midsection. I am doing my best not to worry about losing what ever 5 pack I had to start with. Gym workouts have been on hold for about 2-1/2 weeks (single parenting time), my knee is getting better also. I have been working out with an ab roller, and 25 lb dumbbells. Cardio has gone out the window, which kills me, because I don’t mind doing it. Doing 2 -3 different pushup sets for my chest, these seem to be doing the job. Working out at home is nice but I miss the machines for my legs, especially since squats are out at the moment. Till next blog, Bye.

Well my big tire isn’t big enough. I suppose I can tie a rope to it and pull it around. I flipped it about 10 times as is and I was a little winded, but as far as getting under it, once lifted its to easy. I think I’ll flip it to the end of the field and back and see what comes of it. The tire doesn’t come to my knees, which I think it should be above the knee. I also read about hitting it with a sledge hammer. Its a little different, but kinda cool. Where’s my sledgehammer? Till next blog, Bye.

Well, I’m hurting this week. My knee is still giving me problems. How do you work on your lower body with a bad knee? I can’t get to the gym for a least another week, no fault of mine. Progress on hold. Mainly doing situps and pushups, trying to do different workouts each night. I know I’m making progress, but it seems so sloooow. I’ll keep my head down and keep on plugging away. Till next blog, Bye. P.S. I see all these pics of guys with unbelivable builds, it would be nice to know how long it took them to get there. Its taken me a year, to get where I am. I wonder what 4-5 years of these will be like. Bye, again.

Well, the wife is out of town and I’m grounded w/kids, so no gym this week. Last night I used my old 25 lb dumbbells for an arm/upperbody workout, I felt good about everything. Tonight is jump rope 101, and I’m gonna try to do some leg work. My right knee is not helping, I’ve tried to stay off of it a much as possible and still workout. Squats kill me, so maybe I’ll rig some kinda step up box with my dumbbells. Well thats it, not much structure just workout chaos. My chaos is working for me so I’ll keep on with this until I find something better. My weight is 191+ which is an improvement over my holding at 189. I’ve been eating like a pig, clean and dirty. My goal is to eat my way to 200 lbs and try to hold it there while defining the midsection, over the rest of my life, unless I change my mind. Thats it, bye blog.

Well, I went to both gyms tonight, just to compare again. Gym 1 I did nothing but stationary bike on a tough (sweating bullets) setting for 30 minutes. Gym 2 I did ab work. I’m probably not going back to Gym 1, unless Gym 2 goes belly-up on me. I’m still taking the protein shakes and cassein whey at night. I’ve added animal pack for my vitamin supply. I’ll finish off the supply, but swallowing all those pills is getting old and I’ve only taken them twice. Motivation is mediocre at best, however the abs are doing great, food intake is not enough. My new plan is to add a morning protein shake for weight gain. I’ve been eating a slice of apple pie (every night this past week) which I wouldn’t normally eat. I’m gonna add a protein shake during the morning now since gains are not happening yet. Weekends throw my plan out the window, I need to figure that out as well. I know I can go to 200lbs easily, I’m just trying to walk the fine weight gain vs fat gain line. Till next blog , bye.
