I went to my new gym for the first time today, and i planned on working out, tanning, showering, and going to work. Well i got there and the women’s locker room wasnt done so they made the mens locker room coed. There were separate bathrooms and you had to change in them and the showers werent done. Then i realized i’m an idiot and forgot my tanning lotion and spf for my tattoos, so i couldnt tan. I did 30 min on the treadmill, then to gnc for vitamins ( my gym’s in the mall), and i got a gym bag. I had to go back home to shower, which was inconvenient because my work is in the same town as my gym, but my house is not. Oh well such is life. Tomorrow i’m going to try spin class for the first time. wish me luck!

Well, my ass got the sweet flu bug going around. As fun as that was, I’m really pissed bc i havent been able to work out like i wanted. The good news, however, is that my gym opens up this weekend, and it will be 800 times easier for me to work out. I can’t wait!

I worked out last night with my cousin and i had bought the new issue of oxygen magazine. I brought it with me to try the ab workout in it. The moves were all done on a ball and we grabbed two and went in a corner to do it up. We were having trouble trying to do the advanced moves because of an extreme lack of balance. And apparently we looked like idiots because a personal trainer came over and said "what are you trying to do?" and i just said i didnt know and he gave me an ab routine that only involved the floor.

I’ve been reading a bunch of the nutrition and workout articles and have been re-charged into wanting to keep going. I’m going to the gym tonight and will incorporate what i’ve learned today and hopefully see some change.

I’ve been working out almost a month now and i havent lost any weight. My cousin that i work out with hasnt either. I might have lost a few pounds and gained it in muscle because i definitely have a little more definiton. However, im not any smaller in my size. My gym opens this week so I’ll up my workouts from 3x to 5x and im gonna start upping my cardio to an hour from a half hour. I think if i do that and keep up the weights 3x a week, i should start seeing a change. Any other tips that anyone has would be awesome!

I think there’s something wrong with me. Every time I work out, i sweat profusely. But only in the buttcrack region. Not from my armpits, or back or stomach. Just the crack. I have to wear dark sweatpants so i dont feel like a weirdo. Does this happen to anyone else????????

Worked out tonight. For some strange reason, I lost all energy after doing weights. I havent had this problem before, and i had to sit down for a few minutes before i started my cardio. I’ve had a touch of a cold and maybe that had something to do with it. Hopefully it doesnt happen again. I looked in the mirror tonight and i think i’m starting to get some definition so ill take some pics and post them tomorrow.

I upped the weights today a little bit. Definitely made a difference! I also tried a different machine today, i dont know what its called, but its a mix of stairs and elliptical, and it burned the shit out of my quads!

I’ve just started noticing a change in my shape. It is minute, but i can already tell. It’s only been 2 weeks so far, and people are already commenting that i look thinner. Those books i bought definitely helped me learn more about machines and different exercises for various bodyparts. Now if i could get my diet a little cleaner……..
