A few days in
Well i’ve been working out for a few days now, and i definitely am already feeling better. I’ve been reading a lot of articles on here, and i’ve got a few workouts i’m trying out for now. In about a week my gym opens up so i can have a lot more variety in my workouts, but i still dont know what half the machines are for! i feel like a dumbass looking at the pictures on each machine so i know what to do. Hopefully if i try out everything i’ll feel more comfortable. Any advice from anyone on a good vegetarian diet is most appreciated. I read in an article that i should eat 1 gram of protein for every pound i weigh but that seems like a lot. Is that normal for someone working out???

it is if you want to gain muscle mass. If you just want to loose weight or tone, probably not so much, but you should still consume half that at least.

I always look at the machines for directions don’t worry about it you want to know what setting it is for my height, don’t worry even bodybuilders need guidance.
Here is a great link for exercises if you have anything that’s laggin usually gals want to focus on lower body (don’t be that girl) but here is a link that will give you an idea as to what does what

Also, when I started a few years ago I wanted to get as fat as possible to gain muscle but now I use this link to stay lean www.fitday.com this is a great site to monitor your diet. cals, protein, carbs, sodium, sugar, etc.
I think her goals are that beach body for summer just like the rest of us.

Also, Great job on staying motivated if you got a partner remember to tell him to keep you motivated on days you want to skip and you do the same for him/her.
