Giving it another go. I found it extremly hard to get through the holidays. My will power was next to zero. My resolution this year is to work on that. I need to find that strength to get through the rough patches.

This was not a good week for the diet and exercise plan. Pretty much blew it on both accounts. But it is a new week and I’ll be working hard to get back on track.

I already feel like I’m losing steam on this. It is Tuesday already and I haven’t been to the gym yet. And I’m already thinking up excuses for the rest of the week. My diet has been somewhat on track, but I know I can do better. Every day is a struggle. I need to find that something to get it going. I feel like I’m very weak right now, not physically, mentally…

So far so good… I’ve made it to the gym two of the three days so far this week. I would have gone yesterday too, but I had to take mom to the hospital at 4 in the am.
I like to do my work outs in the morning. I have been getting up at 4:30 am to hit the gym. So far it has only been cardio for about a half hour. I will continue to increase the cardio for a couple weeks then move on to lifting.

I made it to the gym to weigh in this morning and it wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be. I weighed in at 330, which is not good by any means, but it could have been worst. I felt like it was going to be worst.
I got my old journal with me today and I will begin to map out my diet and work out routine today. At this point I’m going to just try to take it one day at a time.

Today I start my journey towards my goal of losing 100 pounds by next year. I will weigh in tomorrow morning and post my results. I will start the journal up again to keep track of my food intake and my work outs.
