P90X ?

My wife is interested in this program and I think it may be something we would enjoy doing together. If you’ve experienced this program could you tell me if there are any items I need to buy to go along with the program.

I bought it and then I returned it. My reasons for doing so were, 1) I got hurt. Something happened to my back and I was too ticked off to start it again. 2) It’s a huge time commitment that I just wasn’t ready for. I realize that I need to take time out for working out and I’m willing to do that, but I hated some of the DVD programs and it would turn me off from working out that day. 3) There are some DVDs that are really focused on their equipment. I had to buy a pull-up bar. A good one comes at $99, so I didn’t get it and without it, I didn’t feel like I was getting a good workout.
BUT, there are some really good things about it too. 1) P90X takes the guesswork out of what you’re supposed to do for workouts every day. 2) I learnt a few new exercises. They were very challenging. 3) I loved that they had a great nutritional guide with the package.
I hope I’ve given you a good assessment of the program. If she really wants to try it, she ought to give it a shot. :)

Just saw this blog.. sorry I didn’t see it sooner.. I’ve been through one 90 day P90X routine and LOVE IT.. Started round 2 on Saturday.. Became a coach with Beachbody because of loving their programs.. it is a challenging workout with lots of push ups, pull ups or pull downs, and very minimal equipment is needed.. I bought a pull up bar at Target for 13.00 and put it up myself. I do have resistance bands but mainly use the dumbells that I have its all about what your comfortable with.. Hit me up with your personal email I can send you some links to the videos.. it is a GREAT program just watch me over the next 90 days and you’ll see. or check out Dave0928 he has had amazing results..

i just started it yesterday , and if your not in decent shape it will kick your butt, but you will love the results, and if you love the pain after effect then this program is right for you, just remember it is very intense but you have to eat healthy for the program to work. p90X Bring it!!
