If it can kill you why do you still do it?

That is the question I ask myself. For example, I know that eating all this crap will kill me one day either by diabetes, heart disease, or some other disease but I still do it. What is up with that?

    Because it’s so damn good, that’s why. lol However I think I just might have been able to kick my McDonald’s habit. I’ve managed to not have it for so long that when my fiance does, and I steal a fry, it’s not quite as good as it used to be. Homemade fries on the other hand….watch out. lol

    McDonalds would be just 1 small habit to break for me since I like just about anything.

    I honestly haven’t eaten at a McDonalds/BurgerKing/Wendy’s….in MONTHS….but I have eaten at Taco HELL a couple times.

    What I’ve been tricking myself into doing is…..If I’m going to eat fast food ….it must be healthy fast food. I eat at Subway or Baja Fresh.

    NO breaded meats, NO deep-fried ANYTHING. NO SODA….that’s been the hard one for me because I’ve been addicted to Pepsi….forever. I’ve learned I really like that V8 Splash…not bad….not bad at all…:)

    I know it’s hard. When you’re hungry…or just on auto pilot it’s so easy to go in to the first place you see.

    So you know the rules for myself…yes you can have fast food….but only certain fast foods.

    I’m not a huge chocolate lover…but once in a while I hear a tootsie roll calling my name…:) In general, I just pretend that I absolutely hate chocolate…it’s amazing what kind of mind games you can play with yourself!
