Not so happy
I see only one thing happening here. I am gaining muscle which = gaining weight. When I first started to workout I went from 285 down to 249. Now I am back up to 280 but with 6% less BF. However, at 40 I really don’t feel like being 280. I want to cut but I am a novice at all of this. Pointers please.

Great job lowering that body fat %! Weight is only a number on the scale. It doesn’t tell us the truth about our progress
Just remember that! I have to tell myself that every day. I’m pretty heavy for a girl who’s only 5′2 (around 140 lbs) but I have muscle that I’ve worked hard for. You’ve made positive gains and have lost body fat - you must be doing something right. How is your diet looking right about now? I know how hard it can be to lose bodyfat on a clean diet…my genes lend themselves to meso and endo so I gain muscle, but have a hard time taking off the tummy. In time and patience right?

Overall my dieting has been ok. I have had a few setbacks but not major. It will be easier when we move into the house next week and I’m not living out of a room with no oven.
